How to treat my 9-year-old's severe stomach discomfort after antibiotics and adenoid removal? - #54013
Hi, my 9 yrs old has functional dysplasia as was diagnosed after her endoscopy 2 years back. Then eventually she was much better. But since this January after taking antibiotics after her Adenoid gland removal, her stomach discomfort came back severely. Since then till now she has been suffering every single day after every single meal. Nausea, bloating, stomach pain, feeling of fulllness, feeling a pull & pain in and around her vaginal area( UTI results came negative but the feelings never went away) In March she again had severe ear infection, so again had to take antibiotics and since then till now her stomach pain and discomfort has been worst. Please help me as to what I can do to relieve her discomfort?

her symptoms relate to imbalance of Agni (digestive fire) and aggravation of Vata Dosha after repeated illness and antibiotics. This weak digestion leads to formation of Ama, causing bloating, nausea, and pain after meals. Treatment focuses on strengthening digestion, reducing Vata, and clearing Ama through light diet, proper meal habits, and gentle herbal support. —Diagnosis: Functional Dyspepsia (Agnimandya + Vata aggravation + Ama) 💊 Rx 1. Zymnet Plus Syrup 5 ml twice daily after meals 2. Amlycure D.S. Syrup 5 ml twice daily after meals 3. Amypure Tablets 1 tablet twice daily 4. Balarishta 10 ml with equal amount of water after lunch — Pathya (Diet Advice) Light diet: khichdi, dal, rice Avoid: junk, fried, cold food Small frequent meals — Apathya Overeating Packaged food Cold drinks ---- Follow-up Review after 2 weeks
this looks like a combination of: Agnimandya (impaired digestion) Ajeerna Grahani Dosha With strong Vata aggravation (pain, pulling sensation, bloating) And Ama formation (toxicity after antibiotics) Antibiotics often disturb gut flora → in Ayurveda this is understood as Agni disturbance + Ama accumulation, which perfectly matches her relapse after both antibiotic courses. Start with Ashtavarga kashayam 20 ml twice a day after food Dadhimashtaka churna half teaspoon with warm water twice a day after food Imunogest tab 1-0-1 after food With these medicines ur immunity will be improved and the stomach issue will be resolved Thank you
