Chronic overthinking with sleeplessness indicates Vata–Pitta imbalance, affecting Manovaha srotas (mind channels). This leads to restlessness, anxiety and disturbed sleep. About Himalaya Mentat: Yes, it can be helpful as a supportive medicine. It contains Brahmi, Shankhpushpi which calm the mind, improve focus, and reduce anxiety. Ayurvedic Management: 1. Medicines Combine with stronger medhya (brain tonic) herbs like Brahmi, Ashwagandha, Jatamansi Consider formulations like Saraswatarishta / Ashwagandha churna 2. Sleep Support Take warm milk with a pinch of nutmeg at night Practice Abhyanga (oil massage) with sesame oil or Brahmi oil before sleep 3.
