How to treat chronic loose motion and bloating after traveling in hot weather? - #54459
One day i travelled for 5-6 hours in extreme hot weather in august then i started facing stomach ache & when i reached home i got loose motion but only once. Since then 5 years r over my motion is loose but only ONCE a day in morning (not Watery but shapeless), bloating 24/7 ,acne on cheeks.Whenever i go out in hot weather for long then frequency of loose motion increases Or if take heating food or meds hingwashtak, panchkol, chitrakadi then also motion increases. Dr tell me that excess pitta has caused mandagni. They advise kutajghan, bilvadi churna, dadimashtaka, giloy but these meds cause sticky motion & acne vanishes, sneezing starts. In winter or cold place( kashmir)also motion becomes sticky. Pls help just 20y/o 😭😭fed up of meds & visiting dr. Can't focus on studies

Your case is a classic Pitta-Vata imbalance with Mandagni (weak digestion) leading to a condition similar to Grahani. Heat exposure triggered it, and now your gut is sensitive + reactive—that’s why both “heating” medicines and hot weather worsen symptoms. Ayurvedic Approach 1. Calm Pitta + Stabilize Gut Start with soft, cooling digestion correction (not strong spices) Morning: lukewarm water + a little soaked fennel (saunf) 2. Medicines Kutajghan Vati – low dose (1 tab once daily) Dadimashtak Churna – after meals (small dose) Pravala Pishti or Kamdudha Ras – to reduce Pitta & acne (avoid strong deepan like hingwashtak, chitrakadi for now) 3. Diet Take simple, cooling, binding food: rice, moong dal, ghee, pomegranate Avoid: spicy, fried, curd (daytime ok in small), junk, excess heat exposure Eat on time, same routine daily 4. Lifestyle Avoid long exposure to sun/heat Practice sheetali pranayama + deep breathing Sleep properly (gut heals with rest)
