Polycythemia (often treated with Jakafi) can cause fatigue due to both the disease process and drug effect. Ayurvedic management should be supportive only and must not replace ongoing hematology care Ayurvedic support for fatigue 1. Aushadhi (medicines) Ashwagandha Churna – 3 g, twice daily with warm milk Guduchi Satva – 500 mg, twice daily with water Amalaki Churna – 3 g, once daily (morning) Brahma Rasayana – 1 teaspoon, morning on empty stomach 2. If weakness is significant: Chyawanprash – 1 teaspoon daily (avoid if sugar uncontrolled) 3. Diet Light but nourishing food: moong dal, rice, ghee, pomegranate, cooked vegetables Adequate hydration Avoid alcohol, smoking, very heavy/oily foods 4.
