Dandruff with severe hair fall for more than 6 months usually indicates aggravated Pitta and Vata dosha along with scalp dryness or fungal buildup. Stress can further weaken the hair roots and increase shedding. With proper scalp care, diet, and routine, improvement is usually possible gradually within 2–3 months. • Apply warm coconut oil mixed with a little neem oil or tea tree oil 2 times weekly. Gently massage the scalp for 10 minutes and leave for 1 hour before washing. • For dandruff, apply fresh aloe vera gel or neem paste on the scalp for 20–30 minutes before bath. This helps reduce itching, flakes, and scalp inflammation. • Wash hair with a mild herbal shampoo. Avoid very hot water, harsh chemical shampoos, and daily hair washing. • After washing, do not keep the scalp wet for long and avoid excessive hair dryer use. • Include protein-rich foods like moong, paneer, milk, nuts, sesame seeds, curry leaves, dates, and fresh fruits. • Drink enough water and avoid excessive junk food, fried food, sugary items, and cold drinks, as they may aggravate scalp imbalance. • Stress is an important trigger for hair fall. Daily pranayama, yoga, meditation, and proper sleep are very important for recovery. • You may take Amla, Bhringraj, and Brahmi … they support hair roots and scalp health. Simple home remedy: Mix 2 tablespoons curd + 1 teaspoon amla powder + few drops lemon juice. Apply to scalp once weekly for 20 minutes, then wash gently.

Long-standing dandruff with severe hair fall is commonly related to scalp inflammation along with stress and weakness of hair roots. Since stress is also present, controlling it is important for recovery. Avoid very hot water, harsh shampoos, excessive oiling, and frequent scratching of scalp. Use a mild anti-dandruff or sulphate-free shampoo 2 times weekly. Maintain proper sleep and hydration. At home, you can apply fresh aloe vera gel on scalp for 20–30 minutes before wash, 2 times weekly. Light coconut oil application with a pinch of camphor can also help reduce dandruff. Bhringraj churna – 1 teaspoon with warm water once daily Amla tablets – 1 tablet twice daily Gandhak rasayan – 1 tablet twice daily after food This will help reduce scalp irritation and support hair strength gradually. I understand how distressing severe hair fall can be. Based on your symptoms of long-term dandruff and significant thinning, your condition is classified as Darunaka leading to Khalitya. While your digestion is good, your moderate stress levels may be aggravating the hair fall. We will focus on clearing the scalp infections and nourishing the roots. 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 1) Narsimha rasayan- 1 tsp twice daily take with Luke warm milk or water after meal 2) saptamrit lauh- 2 tab twice daily take with honey or water after meal 3) neelibhringadi tailam- apply three times a week massage gently into scalp 4) reetha+ shikakai- use as a cleaning hair shampoo instead of other chemical shampoo 👇👇👇👇 Never wash your hair with hot water Include iron rich food like beetroot spinach Amla and black sesame seed in your diet Avoid excessive salty spicy fermented food Practice anulom vilom for 10 minutes daily ensure 7 to 8 hour of sound sleep

Hi dear, in case of dandruff, scalp hygiene, digestion and stress factors plays very important role. As you told, there is no digestion related issue. It’s great. Then you have to only focus on scalp hygiene and stress factors. Wash your scalp regularly before it gets scalp buildup that means before it gets dirty or greasy.when you apply oil, keep it for less than 12 hours. Fix your diet and sleep routine its very important. Avoid late night awakenings, day sleep.Eat freshly prepared, warm and home based food. Avoid excess tea coffee. Work on stress . Do yoga or pranayama or consult ayurved doctor for same. Control if any anger, overthinking etc. when these factors increases your dandruff will increase. You can apply karanj oil or durdurpatradi oil. But not more than 12 hours. You can go for takradhara under guidance of Ayurvedic doctor.
