●Start with Papaya Leaf Extract: It is believed to stimulate bone marrow activity. You can consume it as fresh juice. ●Giloy (Tinospora cordifolia): Known for its immune-boosting properties, Giloy helps increase platelet counts by supporting bone marrow function and reducing inflammation. ●Wheatgrass Juice: Rich in chlorophyll, wheatgrass helps stimulate red blood cell and platelet production. ●Amla (Indian Gooseberry): High in Vitamin C, Amla aids in iron absorption and protects platelets from oxidative stress. ●Aloe Vera: This acts as a blood purifier and helps improve overall blood circulation, ensuring efficient platelet function. ●Iron-Rich Foods: Pomegranate, raisins, beetroots, and lentils help address underlying iron deficiencies linked to low platelets. ●Vitamin A Sources: Pumpkin and carrots are recommended as Vitamin A is essential for healthy platelet production in the bone marrow. ●Vitamin K Foods: Green leafy vegetables like spinach and fenugreek (methi) are crucial for the blood-clotting process ●Hydration: Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily, along with coconut water, to maintain blood volume and circulation. ●Stress Management: Practice yoga and meditation, as chronic stress can negatively impact immune function and platelet production ●Chandraprabha Vati - 2 tablets, twice daily, with warm water, after meals. ●Punarnava Mandoor - 2 tablets, twice daily with warm water after meals. ●Wheat Grass Powder - 1 teaspoonful, twice daily, mixed in a glass of warm water. ●Aarogyavardhini Vati - 2 Tablets, twice daily, with warm water, after meals. ●Carica Papaya Capsules- 2 Tablets twice daily after a meals

In Ayurveda, low platelet count in chronic ITP is often viewed as a weakness or imbalance of Rakta Dhatu (blood tissue) and reduced body immunity/strength. Along with your ongoing medical treatment, focus on improving digestion, nutrition, immunity, and reducing stress. —Since platelet count is around 10,000 with bleeding tendency, continue close follow-up with a hematologist. Severe bleeding symptoms need immediate medical attention. —Rx 1) Navayas Lauh – 1 tab BD after food with honey/warm water 2) Lohasav – 15 ml BD after food (equal water) 3) Guduchi Satva – 500 mg BD with warm water 4) Punarnava Mandur – 1 tab BD after food 5) Ashwagandhadi lehyam 1 tsf at bed time —Pathya: Pomegranate, amla, beetroot, dates, light satvik diet, good sleep, stress control (pranayama) ----Note: Severe low platelets (~10,000) → continue hematology care. Ayurveda only supportive. Any bleeding → emergency care.

Chronic ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenia) in Ayurveda is often understood as a condition involving Rakta dhatu depletion, Pitta imbalance, and weakened immunity (Ojas). Since your platelet count is very low (10,000) and you already had intensive treatments including splenectomy, this condition needs regular monitoring with your hematologist along with supportive Ayurvedic care. Ayurvedic Supportive Approach for Platelet Improvement The aim is to: Nourish Rakta dhatu (blood tissue) Improve immunity naturally Reduce bleeding tendency Strengthen digestion and tissue formation Calm stress, which can aggravate autoimmune conditions Helpful Ayurvedic Medicines Giloy (Guduchi) – excellent immunomodulator and blood-supportive herb Papaya leaf extract – traditionally used to support platelet production Amla (Amalaki) – rich Rasayana for immunity and blood nourishment Wheatgrass juice – may help improve hemoglobin and vitality Draksha / Munakka – supports strength and recovery Classical medicines sometimes used: Punarnava Mandur Suvarna Malini Vasant Giloy Satva Kamdudha Ras (if Pitta symptoms or bleeding tendency present) Diet Recommendations Prefer: Pomegranate Beetroot Black raisins soaked overnight Coconut water Homemade fresh foods Green vegetables in moderate quantity Cow ghee in small amount for nourishment Avoid: Very spicy, sour, fried foods Alcohol and smoking Excess tea/coffee Packaged and junk food Late-night eating Lifestyle Advice Take proper sleep Avoid overexertion and injury risk because platelets are very low Practice gentle breathing exercises and meditation for stress reduction Avoid fasting and excessive heat exposure Important Warning Platelet count of 10,000 is critically low and carries risk of spontaneous bleeding. If you notice: Gum bleeding Blood in urine/stool Nose bleeding Severe headache Black spots or excessive bruising seek immediate hospital care.

In ITP, the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys platelets. Since you have already undergone significant treatments like a splenectomy and various allopathic therapies, the focus shifts toward stabilizing the immune response and supporting bone marrow function. The “Dos” (What to favor)✅ • Papaya Leaf Juice: 10–20 ml twice daily is the most common traditional remedy for increasing counts. • Wheatgrass Juice: Rich in chlorophyll, which has a molecular structure similar to hemoglobin and may support blood health. • Pomegranate & Beetroot: To support blood quality and iron levels. • Cooling Foods: Bottle gourd, pumpkin, and coconut water to pacify Pitta. • Vitamin C & K: Include Amla (Indian Gooseberry) and leafy greens (if not on blood thinners) to strengthen capillary walls. The “Don’ts” (What to avoid)❌ • Spicy & Sour Foods: Avoid chilies, vinegar, pickles, and fermented foods which can “heat” the blood. • High-Impact Activity: Avoid any contact sports or heavy lifting to prevent internal bleeding or bruising. • NSAIDs: Avoid aspirin or ibuprofen unless prescribed, as they interfere with platelet function. • Stress: Since you mentioned high stress, prioritize Pranayama (breathwork) like Anulom Vilom to calm the nervous system, as stress can trigger immune flares.

Hello dear, First of all I want to explain you about your condition. Because in case of ITP, counseling is more important than medicine. ITP is immune thrombocytopenia. Which is one type of auto immune disease, our body can not differentiate pathogens and our own platelets. So it destroys our own platelets. Now your bone marrow study is normal. And it’s positive point for us. Your production of platelet is okay. But just problem with immune system which can’t differentiate and destroy own platelets. So production is okay but after production it destroys it self. Now In allopathy there are many treatments like oral steroids therapy, IV steroid therapy, Bone marrow stimulation medicines, IVIG (which is very expensive medicine) and last option is spleenactomy (surgical removal of spleen). But some times patient can not get result from any way. It’s not incurable disease. Sometimes patient get result just ny oral steroids. But it depend on immune system because it’s auto immune disease. So don’t expect that you will get result very fast from any pathies (either Ayurveda or allopathy), because chronic ITP can take sometimes years (ideally 4-5 yrs as I observed in some cases). It is totally reversible after some period of time. If someone suggest you to consult different different doctors then please don’t do that. It’s auto immune and it will reverse by it self after some times, no one can predict how much time it takes. So medication is not important. This knowledge about your disease is important. I’ll of course prescribe you Ayurveda medicines for it which can help to improve immune system and cold properties medicines because in Ayurveda point of view it’s pitta janya vikara (disease due to pitta dosha). So no medicine is for direct platelet count increase. And please don’t take papaya capsule etc. For platelet count increase. It may possible that 1 year ago this should be started from high grade fever and after that you ITP would be diagnosed. Meanwhile, you need to focus on symptoms. Not on count. No need to direct count increase. It will increase it self after sometimes. Our medicines are treating root cause not increasing platelets directly. And carica papaya or no other medication can increase your platelet directly. And also you need to take some precautions like you should aware of any sharp things, injuries, trauma, bleeding etc. Sometimes purpurae (red patches on skin) is normal if it disappears after 4-5 days. Prescription : 1. Chandanasava : 20 ml medicine with equal quantity of water after meal . 2 times 2. Giloy Satwa : take 1 pinch and mix with honey. And take twice a day before food. 3. Vishamjwarantak Loha : take 2 tablet morning 2 evening after food. 4. Guluchyadi Kwath Tablet : 1 tablet morning 1 evening before meal with hot water.

(ITP) requires focuses on balancing the Pitta and Rakta (blood) doshas, strengthening the immune system (Ojas), and detoxifying the blood. A platelet count of 10,000/µl is critically low and carries a high risk of spontaneous bleeding. ITP is correlated with Tiryaka Rakta Pitta, where the heat in the body disrupts the blood’s quality and its ability to clot. The goal is to cool the blood and improve bone marrow function (the site of Rakta formation). 1) Carica Papaya Leaf Extract- 15 ml Twice daily, empty stomach with Plain water 2) Giloy (Guduchi) Ghan Vati - 2 Tablets Twice daily, after meals with Lukewarm water 3) Kamdudha Ras (with Mukta)- 250 mg Twice daily, before meals with Honey or Ghee 4) Dhatri Lauha- 250 mg Twice daily, after meals with Fresh Amla juice or water 5) Amritarishta- 20 ml Twice daily, after meals Equal amount of water 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Include spinach and kale, which are rich in Vitamin K (essential for clotting). Pomegranate (, Amla, and beetroot juice Avoid Spicy/Sour Foods: Eliminate pickles, vinegar, chilies, and fermented foods, as these increase Pitta and can aggravate bleeding. Drink water stored in a copper vessel or coconut water to maintain electrolyte balance. 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Since you report frequent stress, daily practice of Pranayama (Sheetali or Anulom Vilom) is vital to calm the nervous system. Avoid high-impact activities or any risk of trauma while the count is below 50,000. Ensure 7-8 hours of sound sleep to allow the body to repair tissues and produce new cells.

In Ayurveda, this condition is often correlated with Tiryaka Rakta Pitta, where the Pitta dosha vitiates the Rakta (blood) and Mamsa (muscle) tissues. •••At a count of 10,000, there is a significant risk of spontaneous bleeding, so while Ayurvedic interventions are powerful, they should ideally complement close hematological monitoring. 1.Eranda Karkati : Papaya leaf extract is the gold standard in Ayurveda for rapid platelet recovery . Usage: 10–20 ml of fresh leaf juice twice daily. 2.Guduchi : it is a potent immuno-modulator. In chronic ITP, the goal is to stop the body from destroying its own platelets; Guduchi helps “reset” this immune response. Usage: Guduchi Ghan Vati (500mg) Bd after food with normal water. 3.Amal juice : 10ml bd with same amount of water after food. High Vitamin C content strengthens the capillary walls, reducing the risk of petechiae and internal bleeding. 4.Drakshasava:10ml bd with same amount of water after food.Helps in improving blood quality and digestion. A count of 10,000 is considered a “critical zone” in clinical practice. ••Observation: Monitor for red spots on the skin (petechiae), bleeding gums, or dark stools. •••Integration: If there is active bleeding (nasal, oral, or rectal), immediate hospitalization and possible platelet transfusion or IVIg/Steroid therapy from a hematologist is necessary alongside Ayurvedic support.

Because your bone marrow test is normal, we know your body is producing platelets correctly. However, the fact that your count remains at 10,000 even after a splenectomy means your hyperactive immune system is aggressively destroying the platelets in your bloodstream. In Ayurveda, this is a severe state of vitiated blood and heat combined with deep Ojas depletion, which is also why your energy levels are so low and your stress is so high. ✓Emergency and Ayurvedic Action Plan Ayurvedic medicines take time to permanently modulate the immune system, and at a count of 10,000, you do not have that time. You must use Ayurvedic therapies as an adjunct to immediately stabilize your blood, but you cannot replace modern medical intervention right now. 1. You must contact your hematologist or visit an emergency department immediately. You likely require an urgent intervention such as IVIg, a short course of steroids or TPO receptor agonists (like Eltrombopag/Romiplostim) to artificially boost your platelets out of the danger zone while we work on your baseline health. 2. Papaya Leaf Extract (Carica Papaya) Dosage: 15 to 20 ml of fresh, crushed papaya leaf juice (or standard extract tablets like Caripill) twice a day. This is scientifically and clinically proven to stimulate the bone marrow to rapidly release more megakaryocytes (platelet precursors) and significantly reduce the peripheral destruction of platelets. 3. Durva Grass Juice (Cynodon Dactylon) Dosage: 10 ml of fresh Bermuda grass juice mixed with a few drops of water. Time: Every morning on an empty stomach. Action: In Ayurveda, Durva is a master Raktastambhaka (hemostatic) herb. It rapidly cools the Pitta (heat) in the blood and physically helps stop the easy bruising and bleeding you are currently experiencing. 4. Kamdudha Ras (Moti Yukta) Dosage: 1 tablet twice a day. Time: 30 minutes after meals with normal water. This specific formulation targets the autoimmune heat that is attacking your blood cells. Because it contains pearl, it simultaneously acts as a profound nervine tonic to calm the severe stress and anxiety that actively worsens autoimmune flare ups. ✓Crucial Care Rules Strict Physical Rest: At 10,000 platelets, a simple bump against a table or a minor fall can cause severe internal bleeding. You must avoid all strenuous activities, heavy lifting, and any situation that carries a risk of injury until your count is safely above 50,000. Zero NSAIDs (Painkillers): Absolutely do not take any over-the-counter painkillers like Aspirin, Ibuprofen, or Diclofenac for any aches or pains. These drugs thin the blood and disable the few platelets you have left, which could be fatal in your current state. Mucosa Protection: Brush your teeth extremely gently with an ultra-soft bristle brush to prevent gum bleeding. Avoid eating hard, crunchy, or sharp foods (like chips or hard crusts) that can scratch your digestive tract and trigger bleeding from the inside. Regards, Dr. Gursimranjeet Singh MD Panchakarma

Namaste According to ayurveda all the blood cells are component of Rakht dhatu( blood elememt). I think in your case bone marrow is not doing his function well, we have to detox your full body along with blood element ,only after that your problem will be solved. Because ur case is not a simple case you already tried everything. So we have to do some different and effective with your body to nurish bone marrow. Treatment plan will be purification (at ur own home under my strict instructions) followed by medicine . This will be ur treatment plan Only medicine will not work in ur case pls dont waste time nd money on them

ITP is autoimmune condition in which the immune system attacks platelets which are blood-clotting cells. In Ayurveda ITP is linked to Raktapitta a bleeding illness in which the Rakta is vitiated by the Pitta. Start with Carica papaya capsules 1-0-1 after food with water. Amritarist 10ml-0- 10ml-0-10ml after food with water. Heposem tablet 1-0-1 after food with water, will improve digestion issues

Chronic ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenia) with a platelet count around 10,000 is a very low range, especially when symptoms like easy bruising or bleeding are present. Close follow-up with a hematologist is very important. Ayurveda can play a supportive role, but it should not replace proper medical supervision in such cases. From an Ayurvedic perspective, this condition can be understood in relation to Rakta dhatu imbalance, aggravated Pitta, and reduced Rakta bala. Stress and anxiety may also indirectly worsen the condition. Supportive Ayurvedic management may include: • Guduchi preparations • Amalaki rasayana
• Drakshadi Kashayam 15 ml with 60 ml warm water twice daily before food • Punarnavadi Manduram 1 bd after food (only under physician supervision)

Diet advice: • Fresh, light, easily digestible food • Avoid excessively spicy, fried, processed foods, alcohol, and smoking • Maintain good hydration Lifestyle advice: • Adequate rest • Stress management is important • Avoid injuries/trauma because platelet count is very low Since the platelet count is only around 10,000, self-medication is not advisable. If symptoms like gum bleeding, nose bleeding, black stools, severe weakness, headache, or breathing difficulty occur, immediate hospital evaluation is necessary. A detailed direct consultation with an experienced Ayurvedic physician along with regular hematology follow-up would be the safest approach.

Hello, A platelet count of 10,000 in chronic immune thrombocytopenia is very serious and requires continued supervision by a hematologist. At this level, there is real risk of -spontaneous bleeding -gum/nose bleeding -internal bleeding -rarely brain hemorrhage So Ayurvedic support should be viewed as -supportive and stabilizing, not a replacement for emergency medical care when platelets are this low Especially because you have –chronic ITP -splenectomy history -brusing/bleeding symptoms -low energy In chronic ITP -your bone marrow is often normal (as in your case) -but the immune system mistakenly destroys platelets So the problem is not usually platelet production failure alone It is -immune dysregulation -chronic inflammation -accelerated destruction This resembles -Rakta dhatu kshaya + dushti (blood tissue depletion/disturbance) -aggravated pitta -weakened ojas (immunity/vitality) -vata aggravation from chronic illness/stress Symptoms like -bruising -bleeding tendency -fatigue -weakness reflects depletion of blood quality and immune instability Treatment goals The aim is not :- quick platelet boost But -reduce immune overactivity -support marrow and blood tissue -reduce bleeding tendency -improve energy and recovery -stabilize long term Very important warning signs If any of these happens -black stools -blood in urine -severe headache -vomiting blood -sudden dizziness -confusion Seek emergency medical care immediately At platelet 10,000 this is not optional Internal medication 1) Guduchi ghan vati= 1 tab twice daily after meals =immune modulation, chronic inflammatory conditions, recovery support May help reduce immune imbalance 2) Amla powder= 1 tsp with warm water in morning =pitta reduction, antioxidant support, blood tissue nourishment 3) Wheatgrass juice= 20ml daily =often used traditionally for blood support, vitality Some pateints report symptomatic improvement 4) Papaya leaf extract capsule= 1 cap in morning =widely used in platelet supportive traiditonal practice Recovery support 1) Ashwagandha churna= 1/2 tsp with warm milk at bedtime =may help stress reduction, energy, recovery Diet very important focus on -soft, nourishing foods -easy digestion -anti inflammatory approach Include -pomegranate -beetroot -cooked vegetables -warm soups -moong dal -ghee Avoid strictly -alcohol -smoking -very spicy food -excessive fried food -processed foods Things that may worsen bleeding risk Avoid self -high dose garlic -gingko -excess omega 3 -aggressive detox therapies -fasting These may worsen bleeding tendency Lifestyle Rest is important At platelet 10,000 -avoid heavy exercise -avoid injury risk -avoid contact sports Stress management You mentioned frequent stress/anxiety This significantly worsens autoimmune instability Helpful -slow breathing -yoga nidra -gentle meditation -bhramari pranayam Avoid forceful pranayam Investigation to continue regularly -CBC with platelet count -peripheral smear -liver function -autoimmune review -infection screening if indicated And regular hematology follow up About splenectomy Since you already had splenectomy -infection prevention becomes important -monitor fever seriously -maintain vaccinations as advised Ayurvedic support may help -energy -inflammation -overall stability -quality of life But with platelets at 10,000 -response maybe gradual -modern medical monitoring remains essential Your condition is serious but manageable with -close hematology supervision -infection prevention -careful immune- balancing support -stress reduction -gentle nourishment Avoid anyone promising -rapid permanent cure -platelets normalized in days Chronic ITP usually requires long term careful management Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you

With platelet count around 10,000, this is a serious level and close monitoring by your hematologist is very important. Since you already have chronic ITP and splenectomy history, Ayurvedic support should be only supportive, not a replacement for ongoing medical care. Avoid injury, heavy exercise, alcohol, painkiller self-medication, and anything that can increase bleeding risk. Diet support: Pomegranate, black grapes, beetroot, papaya leaf juice (small quantity if tolerated) Good hydration and adequate protein Medicines: Giloy satva – 250 mg twice daily Punarnava mandoor – 1 tablet twice daily after food Draksharishta – 15 ml with equal water twice daily after food Important: If bleeding, black stools, gum bleeding, severe weakness, or headache develops, seek urgent medical care immediately. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)
