My daughteris 22 yrs old , she has excessive hair fall and she is losing too much hair in front left side, she has already taken Biotin tablets and HairFollicle tablet for 2 month, still no difference.. please advise what to do plus her skin is very oily and she had dark pimples on her back long back which r gone now but marks still there.. please advice.. Thanks

Excessive hair fall with oily skin and acne tendency in a young female is commonly associated in Ayurveda with Pitta-Kapha imbalance, poor nutrition, stress, irregular food habits, disturbed sleep, and sometimes hormonal imbalance. Since the problem is continuing for more than 6 months, proper internal nourishment and scalp care are important. Ayurvedic Advice Internal Medicines Amla Juice – 20 ml with equal water every morning empty stomach. Helps improve hair roots, skin glow, and digestion. Bhringraj Tablet / Capsule – 1 tablet twice daily after food. Supports hair growth and reduces hair fall. Triphala Churna – 1 tsp with lukewarm water at bedtime. Helps detoxification and improves skin condition. Mahamanjisthadi Kwath – 15 ml with equal water twice daily after meals. Useful for oily skin, acne marks, and blood purification. External Care Apply Bhringraj oil or Neelibhringadi oil on scalp 3 times weekly at night. Gentle scalp massage improves circulation and strengthens follicles. Wash hair with mild herbal shampoo; avoid frequent chemical treatments, heat styling, and tight hairstyles. For oily skin and acne marks: Use Multani mitti + rose water face pack 2 times weekly. Apply fresh Aloe vera gel at night on acne marks. Diet & Lifestyle Increase: Green vegetables Sesame seeds Curry leaves Amla Sprouts Coconut water Protein-rich diet Avoid: Excess oily, spicy, junk food Cold drinks Excess sugar Late-night sleeping Drink adequate water and maintain regular sleep. Important Investigations Since hair fall is persistent, she should also check: Hemoglobin (Hb) Vitamin D Vitamin B12 Thyroid profile (TSH) Ferritin / Iron levels PCOS evaluation if periods are irregular These deficiencies are very common causes of hair fall in young women. With proper nutrition, Ayurvedic medicines, and scalp care, improvement is usually seen gradually within 2–3 months.
