Your symptoms suggest a deep Agni (digestive fire) weakness with possible Vata imbalance and Dhatu Kshaya (tissue depletion) in Ayurveda. Poor digestion for a long time can reduce proper nourishment to muscles, skin, and mind, leading to muscle wasting, soft saggy skin, low appetite, disturbed sleep, anxiety, and weakness. Since this condition is severe and ongoing for many months, proper evaluation is important to rule out nutritional deficiency, malabsorption, thyroid imbalance, liver issues, or chronic illness along with Ayurvedic treatment. Ayurvedic support may help gradually by improving digestion, absorption, strength, and sleep: • Ashwagandha Churna – helps muscle nourishment, strength, stress, and sleep quality. • Shatavari Churna – supports tissue nourishment and dryness. • Chyawanprash – useful for rebuilding energy and immunity if digestion tolerates it. • Draksharishta – may help appetite, digestion, weakness, and recovery. • Hingwashtak Churna – can support bloating, heaviness, and poor digestion in small doses before meals. Diet & lifestyle advice: • Eat very small but frequent warm meals instead of heavy meals. • Prefer easy-to-digest nourishing foods like moong khichdi, rice gruel, thin dal, cooked vegetables, dates milk, almond milk, and homemade soups. • Avoid raw salads, cold foods, excess dry spices, packaged foods, and fasting. • Your cumin, fennel, and ajwain mixture is helpful, but if overused it may increase dryness in already depleted conditions. • Take 1–2 tsp cow ghee daily if digestion allows, as it supports tissue nourishment and Vata balance. • Gentle oil massage with warm sesame oil before bath may help muscle wasting and sleep disturbance. • Maintain fixed sleep timing and avoid screen exposure late at night. With proper Agni correction and Rasayana therapy, Ayurveda aims to improve digestion first, then gradually rebuild muscle tissue and strength naturally.

Your symptoms like severe muscle loss, early fullness, poor appetite, shiny soft skin, weakness and sleep disturbance may indicate poor digestion and absorption, but can also occur in conditions like thyroid disease, diabetes, vitamin deficiency, liver/pancreas problems or chronic illness. Medical evaluation is important. Take Ashwagandha churna 1 tsp with warm milk at night Chyawanprash 1 tsp morning Avipattikar churna 1/2 tsp before meals with warm water Draksharishta 15 ml + equal water after lunch and dinner Diet Small frequent meals Moong dal soup, rice gruel, ghee, boiled vegetables Avoid heavy fried foods, cold drinks and excess raw foods For digestion: Fresh ginger + pinch rock salt before meals may help better than honey mixtures

Hello All your symptoms mainly severe muscle loss, sagging soft skin along with this poor appetite, anxiety, disturbed sleep indicates that your body is not able to absorb the nutrients properly As it is present since more than 6 months it needs a proper evaluation and also not treated with just home remedies Important evaluations You can share your reports or if not done recently you can get it done as early as possible Because understanding the cause is the first line of treatment in your case -CBC, Vitamin b12 and vitamin D -Thyroid profile -Blood sugar levels -Serum Electrolytes Unexplained muscle wasting and fullness can be due to -Nutritional deficiency -Malabsorption -Chronic gastric issues -IBS -metabolic conditions So its important to rule out the exact cause Ayurvedic approach according to your case condition Step1 = Improving your digestion Currently your digestion is weak in such case we can advice you to have heavy tonics Instead of that try this -take small piece of fresh ginger juice with 1 pinch of rock salt and have it before meals -Keep sipping warm cumin -fennel -Coriander water throught the day Step 2= Nourishment therapy once your digestion is improved 1. Ashwagandhadi lehyam 1 tsp morning empty stomach 2. shatavari capsule 1 capsule twice daily after food This will improve your -Muscle growth -Strength -Sleep -Prevent anxiety For sleep and mental stress Take a warm milk with a pinch of nutmeg at bed time Do gentle foot massage with coconut oil Avoid screen time I will strongly suggest you to go for evaluation and further update us on it so that we can guide you precisely Wishing you a good health and speedy recovery Warm Regards Dr snehal vidhate

1. Why Your Current Remedy Isn’t Working While cumin, fennel, and ajwain are excellent carminatives (Deepana-Pachana), taking them with honey might be counterproductive in your current state. Honey is inherently heavy (Guru), sweet, and can further aggravate Ama if the digestive fire is too weak to process it. Furthermore, simply stimulating the stomach isn’t enough; we need to clear the deep-seated metabolic blockages. 2. Line of Treatment (Chikitsa Sutra) The treatment must follow a strict sequential order: Deepana-Pachana (kindling digestive fire and digesting toxins) \rightarrow Srotoshodhana (clearing body channels) \rightarrow Rasayana/Brimhana (nourishing and rebuilding muscle mass). Rebuilding muscle immediately without fixing digestion will only create more Ama. ••Step 1: Amapachana & Agni Deepana (Toxin Digestion & Fire Kindling) Before thinking about weight gain or muscle building, we must clear the stagnated sludgy toxins. ••Mustakarishta & Chitrakadi Vati: Chitrakadi Vati (1–2 tablets before meals) helps stimulate Jatharagni. Mustakarishta (15–20 ml with an equal quantity of lukewarm water after meals) helps digest Ama and relieves the immediate sensation of fullness. ••Panchakola Phanta / Churna: A mild decoction or powder of Panchakola (Pippali, Pippalimoola, Chavya, Chitraka, Nagara) is highly effective in treating Agnimandya (low appetite) and Apakti (indigestion). ••Modify Your Current Herbs: Stop taking the powder with honey. Instead, take a warm infusion of Ajwain and Dry Ginger (Shunthi) boiled in water, and sip it throughout the day. Step 2: Srotoshodhana (Clearing Channels) To address the doughy, saggy skin and fluid retention-like softness: ••Triphala Guggulu or Kanchnar Guggulu: Under supervision, these help metabolize excess, unhealthy Kapha accumulations in the tissues and clear the micro-channels so that nutrition can eventually reach the muscles. Step 3: Brimhana & Mamsa Rebuilding (Only After Appetite Normalizes) Once your tongue is clear (not coated), your appetite returns naturally, and fruits digest easily, you can transition to tissue-building formulations: ••Ashwagandha & Shatavari: Formulations like Ashwagandhadi Lehya or Ajamamsa Rasayana are highly specific for Mamsa Kshaya. ••Dravyas: Herbs like Bala (Sida cordifolia) and Ashwagandha act as Mamsavardhaka (muscle tone improvers) and will also address your sleep disturbances by calming Vata Dosha. 3. Dietary & Lifestyle Protocols ••Ushnodaka (Warm Water): Drink only warm water throughout the day. Cold water will instantly suppress your Agni. ••Dietary Pause on Raw Foods: Completely stop raw fruits and salads for a couple of weeks. Raw foods require a very strong Agni to break down. Switch entirely to warm, fully cooked, easily digestible meals like Moong Dal Khichdi spiced with a pinch of dry ginger, cumin, and black pepper. ••Sleep Hygiene: The sleep disturbance is tied to Vata vitiation caused by tissue depletion (Dhatu Kshaya). Applying warm Balashwagandha Oil or plain sesame oil to the soles of your feet (Padabhyanga) before bed can significantly improve sleep quality without burdening your digestion.
