Sjogren’s syndrome with long-term stress after repeated IVF failure can increase Vata-Pitta imbalance, causing dryness, inflammation, disturbed sleep, fatigue, body pain, bloating, and low stamina. Your symptoms suggest dhatu kshaya (tissue depletion) with aggravated Vata affecting joints, sleep, and digestion. At present, focus should be on: Reducing inflammation Improving sleep and strength Nourishing body tissues Calming the nervous system and immunity naturally Ayurvedic Supportive Plan Take warm, freshly cooked, easy-to-digest meals. Avoid excessive fasting, cold foods, packaged foods, tea/coffee excess, and spicy fried items. Include ghee, soaked almonds, black raisins, moong soup, rice gruel, and cooked vegetables for nourishment. Drink small amounts of warm water frequently to reduce dryness and improve digestion. Helpful Ayurvedic Therapies Daily gentle Abhyanga (body oil massage) with warm sesame oil or Bala-Ashwagandha oil can help joint pain, thigh pain, fatigue, and insomnia. Mild Swedana (steam/fomentation) may reduce stiffness and inflammation. Nasya and Shirodhara are often beneficial for insomnia, stress, and nervous exhaustion under supervision. Commonly Used Ayurvedic Herbs medicines like: Ashwagandha Shatavari Guduchi Yashtimadhu Bala Guggulu preparations may help improve immunity balance, strength, sleep, and inflammation naturally. For Sleep & Fatigue Sleep before 10:30 pm. Avoid mobile use late night. Practice gentle breathing exercises, yoga nidra, and short morning walks. Warm milk with a pinch of nutmeg or turmeric at night may help sleep. Important Since you are diagnosed with Sjogren’s syndrome, continue regular follow-up with your rheumatologist and monitor eyes, mouth dryness, joints, and internal organs periodically. Ayurveda can work very well as supportive care along with modern treatment, especially for improving quality of life, energy, digestion, sleep, and reducing Vata-related symptoms. With proper diet, stress management, rasayana therapy, and regular treatment, many patients gradually experience improvement in stamina, sleep, and body pain.

▪︎In Ayurveda, your symptoms closely mirror a deep-seated imbalance where aggravated Vata and Pitta doshas have permeated the Rasa (plasma), Rakta (blood), and Asthi (bone) dhatus (tissues). The intense hormonal stimulation from IVF, combined with the stress of the procedures, has acted as a catalyst, drying up the body’s natural cooling fluids (Ojas and Kapha) and leading to the severe dryness, lack of sweating, and joint pain characteristic of both Vata-Pitta vitiation and Sjogren’s syndrome. The swelling in your upper abdomen and the lack of stamina point to compromised Agni(digestive fire) and the accumulation of Ama (metabolic toxins), which is clogging your body’s micro-channels (srotas), causing your energy to feel completely stuck. ▪︎To move forward, the treatment strategy must focus on Pitta Shaman (cooling the inflammation) and Vata Anulomana (grounding and lubricating the nervous and musculoskeletal systems) without overloading your digestion. Since your organs are safe, you can gently rebuild by prioritizing easily digestible, warm, and naturally hydrating foods cooked with small amounts of cooling lubricants like cow’s ghee, while avoiding spicy, sour, or deeply fermented foods that flare Pitta. To tackle the insomnia and fatigue, building a gentle evening ritual with Abhyanga (applying warm, organic sesame or Kshirabala oil to your scalp and the soles of your feet) can help soothe the hyperactive Vata that is keeping you awake. Because Sjogren’s is complex, finding a well-reputed Ayurvedic physician in your new district for a structured plan—potentially involving gentle Deepana-Pachana (herbs to clear toxins and boost metabolism) and deeply nourishing Rasayana therapies—is the best next step to safely clear the inflammation and restore your stamina. ▪︎Myaxyl Capsules 2 tab 2 times ▪︎Brahmi Vati 2 tab at bed time ▪︎Bala Churna 2 teaspoon 2 times a day. ▪︎Ashwagandhadi Ghrit 2 teaspoon 2 times a day ▪︎Ksheerabala oil Do massage on head and legs

Your recent diagnosis of Sjogren’s syndrome perfectly aligns with the Ayurvedic diagnosis you received earlier. Sjogren’s is an autoimmune condition where the body’s immune system attacks its own moisture-producing glands. In Ayurveda, this is a profound aggravation of Vata (which creates extreme dryness and insomnia) and Pitta (which creates the autoimmune inflammation and joint pain). This systemic dryness explains your lack of sweating, dry eyes, dry mouth, and even the bilateral tubal block you initially faced. Because there is no organ damage yet, you are not stuck. We can absolutely manage this by cooling the autoimmune heat, intensely lubricating the body from the inside out, and calming your nervous system to restore your sleep. ✓Ayurvedic Plan 1. Shatavari Ghrita (The Primary Corrector) Dosage: 1 teaspoon twice a day. Time: 30 minutes before your lunch and dinner. Vehicle: Mixed into a small cup of warm milk (or warm water if you cannot tolerate dairy). 2. Giloy Satva and Mukta Pishti (Autoimmune Modulator) Dosage: Mix 500 mg of Giloy Satva with 125 mg of Mukta Pishti. Time: Twice a day, morning and evening on an empty stomach. Vehicle: Sip with a little normal water. 3. Jatamansi Churna (For Insomnia) Dosage: 1/2 teaspoon. Time: At night, 30 minutes before going to sleep. Vehicle: A glass of warm water. ✓Crucial Care Rules 1 Padabhyanga (Foot Massage): Every night before bed, take some pure, warm Cow’s Ghee and massage the soles of your feet for 5 minutes. This simple physical action draws the hyperactive nervous energy downward, signaling your brain to sleep. 2 Oil Pulling: To combat the severe dry mouth from Sjogren’s, take 1 tablespoon of warm Sesame oil or Coconut oil into your mouth every morning. Swish it around for 3 to 5 minutes, then spit it out. This lubricates the oral mucosa and stimulates the salivary glands. 3 Avoid Dry and Rough Foods: Strictly eliminate dry crackers, raw salads, and caffeine. Your body is starved of moisture. Eat warm, soupy, naturally oily foods like khichdi with ghee, warm broths, and cooked vegetables. Regards, Dr. Gursimranjeet Singh MD Panchakarma

••Here is an Ayurvedic understanding of your condition and a roadmap to help you move forward. The Ayurvedic Perspective: What is Happening? In Ayurveda, your presentation points toward a profound imbalance of Vata and Pitta doshas, complicated by Ama (metabolic toxins) and Ojas Kshaya (depleted immunity and vital energy). ••Vata and Insomnia/Fatigue: The reproductive tract (Artava Vaha Srotas) is governed heavily by Vata. IVF procedures, hormonal down-regulation, emotional stress, and the physical trauma of injections intensely aggravate Vata. High Vata dries up body tissues, disturbs the nervous system, and causes severe insomnia, fatigue, and thigh/joint pain. ••Pitta, Inflammation, and Sjogren’s: Sjogren’s syndrome (manifesting here as dryness/no sweating and joint inflammation) is viewed as a Gatavata or Utthana Vatarakta condition with high Pitta. The heat (Ushna Guna) of Pitta has dried up the natural moisture (Sneha) of your tissues, leading to the dryness and upper abdominal swelling (which mimics chronic low-grade inflammation or Amashaya-gata Vata). The Clexane and Injections Factor: Blood thinners and hormonal injections are highly potent, heating (Teekshna and Ushna) substances. They can irritate the local tissue (Mamsa and Rakta), leading to the specific thigh and joint pain you are experiencing. 1. Address the Insomnia First (Calming Vata) You cannot heal or combat inflammation without sleep. Sleep (Nidra) is one of the three pillars of life in Ayurveda. ••Padabhyanga (Foot Massage): Before bed, rub warm Ksheerabala Thailam or organic sesame oil on the soles of your feet for 10 minutes. This draws the hyperactive Vata down from your head and promotes deep sleep. ••Shankhpushpi & Ashwagandha: Consider taking a gentle nervine tonic. A combination of Shankhpushpi (calms the mind) and Ashwagandha (restores stamina and combats fatigue) under guidance can help reset your sleep cycle. 2. Soothe the Dryness & Joint Pain (Sjogren’s Management) Since Sjogren’s is a condition of extreme internal dryness, we must rehydrate the tissues at a cellular level without overloading your digestion. ••Internal Oleation (Snehana): Taking 1 teaspoon of warm Medicinal Ghee (like Tikta Ghrita or Saraswatha Ghrita) on an empty stomach in the morning with warm water helps flush out deep-seated Pitta toxins and lubricates dry tissues. ••Local Application: Apply warm Dhanwantaram Thailam or Sahacharadi Thailam to your thighs and joints. Follow this with a warm bath (not hot) to help the oil penetrate and relieve the Clexane-induced stiffness. 3. Cool the Upper Abdominal Swelling (Digestive Fire / Agni) Your upper abdomen is swollen because your digestive fire (Agni) has been compromised by heavy medications. ••CCF Tea: Sip on warm cumin, coriander, and fennel tea throughout the day. This gently kindles Agni, burns Ama (toxins), and reduces abdominal bloating without increasing Pitta heat. ••Diet: Stick strictly to warm, moist, easy-to-digest foods. Think khichdi, well-cooked gourds (ash gourd, bottle gourd), and split moong dal with a touch of ghee. Avoid spicy, fermented, sour, and deeply fried foods, which will worsen both Sjogren’s dryness and abdominal inflammation.

Your symptoms look more related to autoimmune inflammation + sleep depletion + physical/emotional stress after IVF journey. Since organs are normal on CT, this is a positive sign and early management can help improve quality of life. Focus on rest, regular sleep timing, gentle movement, hydration, and anti-inflammatory diet. Avoid overexertion, fasting, very spicy food, and excess stress. Ashwagandha capsule – 1 at bedtime Yograj Guggulu – 1 tablet twice daily after food Shatavari churna – 1 teaspoon with warm milk at night Maharasnadi kwath – 15 ml twice daily with warm water For dryness, frequent warm water sips, ghee in diet, and proper hydration are important. Recovery in autoimmune conditions is gradual, so consistency matters more than strong medicines. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)

Hello Your symptoms of persistent fatigue, joint pain, insomnia, dryness of eyes and mouth, and the diagnosis of Sjögren’s syndrome indicate a chronic inflammatory autoimmune condition. In Ayurveda, this can be understood as Vata-Pitta aggravation with Dhatu Kshaya and involvement of Rasavaha and Asthivaha srotas. The IVF procedures may have acted as a triggering factor, but the current symptoms require comprehensive management rather than focusing only on the IVF history. I would advise: • Amritottaram Kashayam 15 ml with equal water twice daily before food. • Ashwagandharishta 20 ml with equal water twice daily after food. • Brahmi Vati 1 tablet at bedtime for sleep disturbance and mental fatigue. • Ksheerabala 101 Avarti, 5 drops with warm milk at bedtime, if suitable. • Daily Abhyanga with Ksheerabala Taila followed by a warm water bath. Maintain adequate hydration, regular sleep timing, and a nourishing diet rich in ghee, milk (if tolerated), fruits, and vegetables. Avoid excessive stress, late nights, and very dry, spicy, or processed foods. Please continue follow-up with your rheumatologist and get Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, thyroid profile, ESR, and CRP assessed if not done recently. A personalized Ayurvedic treatment plan after reviewing your reports will provide the best results. Wishing you a speedy recovery and better health.
