आपकी उम्र 18 वर्ष है, वजन 45 किग्रा है, भूख कम लगती है और आप काफी एक्टिव रहते हैं। अच्छी बात यह है कि आपको कोई पाचन या अन्य स्वास्थ्य समस्या नहीं है। ऐसे मामलों में सही डाइट, भूख बढ़ाने का उपचार और नियमित स्ट्रेंथ ट्रेनिंग से वजन स्वस्थ तरीके से बढ़ाया जा सकता है। केवल वेट गेनर सप्लीमेंट पर निर्भर रहने से अपेक्षित लाभ नहीं मिलता। आपके कम वजन के संभावित कारण आपकी जानकारी के अनुसार निम्न कारण सबसे अधिक संभावित लगते हैं: कम भूख (Low appetite) – पर्याप्त कैलोरी नहीं मिल पाती। जंक फूड अधिक लेना – पेट भर जाता है लेकिन पोषण और प्रोटीन कम मिलता है। बहुत एक्टिव रूटीन – शरीर अधिक कैलोरी खर्च कर देता है। कम संभावना होने पर भी, यदि वजन बिल्कुल नहीं बढ़ता तो थायरॉइड, एनीमिया या पोषण की कमी जैसे कारणों की जांच करनी पड़ सकती है। आयुर्वेदिक उपचार योजना 1. अश्वगंधा चूर्ण 3–5 ग्राम सुबह और रात दूध के साथ। बल, मांसपेशियों की वृद्धि और वजन बढ़ाने में सहायक। 2. शतावरी कल्प 1–2 चम्मच सुबह और शाम दूध के साथ। पोषण बढ़ाने और शरीर को स्वस्थ वजन प्राप्त करने में मदद करती है। 3. च्यवनप्राश 1 चम्मच नाश्ते के बाद प्रतिदिन। भूख, ऊर्जा और पोषण सुधारने में सहायक। सप्लीमेंट लेना चाहिए? यदि आपकी डाइट में प्रोटीन कम है तो: Whey Protein 1 स्कूप प्रतिदिन वर्कआउट के बाद ले सकते हैं। किसी महंगे “Weight Gainer” की शुरुआत करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। पहले भोजन और प्रोटीन पर ध्यान दें। आहार (Pathya) प्रतिदिन: दूध, दही, पनीर केले 2–3 प्रतिदिन मूंगफली, बादाम, किशमिश अंडे (यदि लेते हों) दालें, सोया, पनीर घी 1–2 चम्मच भोजन में दिन में 5–6 छोटे भोजन क्या न करें? जंक फूड, कोल्ड ड्रिंक, पैकेट स्नैक्स कम करें। भोजन छोड़ना या केवल सप्लीमेंट पर निर्भर रहना उचित नहीं है। देर रात जागने से बचें। व्यायाम और दिनचर्या वेट ट्रेनिंग जारी रखें। रोज 7–8 घंटे की नींद लें। कार्डियो बहुत अधिक न करें यदि लक्ष्य वजन बढ़ाना है। यदि 2–3 महीने अच्छी डाइट और उपचार के बाद भी वजन नहीं बढ़ता, तो CBC, Thyroid Profile (TSH), Vitamin D, Vitamin B12 और Stool Examination करवाना उचित रहेगा। उचित आहार, अश्वगंधा और नियमित व्यायाम के साथ अधिकांश युवाओं में 2–3 महीनों में वजन और ताकत में धीरे-धीरे सुधार दिखाई देने लगता है। धैर्य रखें और स्वस्थ तरीके से वजन बढ़ाने पर ध्यान दें।
