विशेषज्ञता का क्षेत्र: | I am focused mainly on pulmonary care, working with patients who deal with bronchial asthma, allergies, sinusitis and migraine, and I try to look at each case a bit differently becuase symptoms dont always follow the same path. I handle musculoskeletal and neurological problems too, like stroke recovery, spinal injuries, intervertebral disc lesions, neuropathy and memory related concerns, sometimes cases feel complex but steady follow up helps alot
I am also involved in sports medicine, treating fractures, ligament injuries, sprains, frozen shoulder and sciatica, where timing of care really matters alot!!. With children, I manage pediatric conditions such as cerebral palsy (CP) and other developmental disorders, and I keep learning from every child since thier needs can change quickly. |
उपलब्धियों: | I am often commended for my work in integrative neurologcial rehabilitation and post-traumatic rehab, where I focus on steady patient managment and careful follw-up care. I try to keep high standrds in treatment outcoms, even when cases feels complex, and yes sometimes details get messy,, but strong follow-up and consistent care usually help patient recover better over time. |
I am Dr. Hridhima Vijay, working as a physician at Al SHAFI Kottakkal Ayurveda Hospital, and most of my days revolve around managing international patients who come with neurological and complex health issues. I regularly handle conditions like stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), cerebral palsy (CP), genetic and developmental disorders, spinal problems, and post–road traffic accident rehabiltiation. My daily work mixes classical Ayurvedic internal medicines with specialized external therapys, along with modern physiotherapy methods, because I feel recovery improves when systems are combined rather than used alone Earlier, I worked at District Ayurveda Hospital, Valavannur in Kerala, where I developed deeper interest in Ayurveda sports medicine. During that time I managed fractures, sprains, musculoskeletal injuries, neuropathy, sciatica, intervertebral disc lesions, and even pediatric cases, which sometimes required extra patience and careful planning. I also perform traditional procedures like bloodletting therapy, Hijama (cupping), and Agnikarma, and these hands-on treatements helped me understand how different bodies respond in real clinical settings I also deal with chronic respiratory issues like bronchial asthma, chronic lung diseases, and dust allergies, and honestly these conditions often need consistent follow-ups more than quick fixes. My approach is always to design individualized treatment protocols, because every patient comes with their own story and body response, and a fixed method rarely works the same for all patients I prefer minimal yet effective medication, along with condition specific diet planning and regular reviews, though sometimes adjustments takes time depending on how the patient responds. My focus stays on holistic, patient-centered care that supports long-term healing and better quality of life, even when progress feels slow or uneven at first.
