Experience:
Education:
Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara college of Ayurveda, Hospital & Research Centre, Kuthpady, Udupi
Academic degree:
Doctor of Medicine in Ayurveda
Area of specialization:
I am mostly working with people who have health issues that just dont go away easy—neurological stuff like tremors or sciatica, breathing troubles like asthma or recurring bronchitis, digestion mess like IBS or acid reflux, even joint pains and stiffness from arthritis. Also deal with metabolic problems—diabetes, thyroid shifts, weight gain that won’t listen. I try to dig into the root, not just the outer symptoms, usually by seeing how the doshas are behaving (or misbehaving). Treatment’s a mix, depends on the person—classical herbs, Panchakarma if the body needs deeper cleanse, diet changes that actually fit real life, and lifestyle shifts that dont feel impossible to follow. Sometimes it’s tiny tweaks, sometimes a more structured plan, but always aimed at making the system work smoother, longer. I keep the focus on restoring balance and function, but also on building that steadiness so the same old problem doesn’t just come back in 3 months. That’s the part I like the most—when people start feeling they’re in charge of their health again, not the other way round.
Achievements:
I am kind of proud (and a bit tired remembering) that my work ended up in few international publications where the focus was Ayurveda + lifestyle medicine. Those weren’t just random articles, they carried my clinical notes, case observations, and the way I see chronic conditions getting handled without rushing to suppress symptoms. Felt good knowing this wasn’t just staying local—those pages sorta connect ancient Ayurvedic thought with global health talks, and yeah, it’s nice to be part of that.

I am mostly working with people who deal with long-term health troubles, and my focus stays on finding why the problem started in the first place rather than just calming it down for a bit. I work with neurological issues like Parkinsons, sciatica, chronic headaches, also musculoskeletal problems like arthritis (rheumatoid, osteo, gout), frozen shoulder, even spine stiffness. Then there’s metabolic stuff—diabetes, thyroid problems, metabolic syndrome, weight gain that doesn’t go away. I also see quite a few cases of asthma, bronchitis, IBS, acidity, reflux, all those digestive complaints that keep coming back. My way is pretty rooted in classical Ayurveda but I like keeping it practical too. I check each patient’s prakriti (constitution), agni (digestive fire), and what doshas are out of balance. Then I mix together herbal medicines, diet plans, detox routines, and lifestyle tweaks. Sometimes its as simple as shifting daily habits or food timing, other times it needs more structured therapies like Panchakarma. It’s not just about treating a “disease name”—it’s about helping the whole person feel normal again, move easier, breathe better, sleep well. I don’t like rushing. I prefer to take enough time to understand how the mind, digestion, joints, energy levels are all connected. A lot of people come in with one problem but leave realizing we fixed more than they expected. And yes, progress is often slow and steady, but it stays. That’s the point—healing that doesn’t fall apart after a few weeks. At the end of the day, my aim is simple: bring back balance, build resilience, and make health something they can maintain without constant dependency on me or any medicine.
