I am someone who’s kinda grown into the role of managing chronic & lifestyle issues using Ayurveda—it wasn’t just a plan, it just evolved that way. Right now I mainly deal with long-term stuff like RA, psoriasis, IBS, thyroid flares, PCOS, high acidity, and weight concerns like obesity or even fatty liver cases that just don’t shift easily. A lot of insulin-resistance too lately. And then there’s pain—like chronic backaches, stubborn migraines, cervical strain, things that don’t go away with quick fixes. I use a lot of classics—Ahara-Vihara-Shodhana, mostly—but always modify to match the patient’s lifestyle, not just the textbook. Sometimes detox (Panchakarma) is needed, other times, people need just a simpler gut reset. The cool part is understanding each person’s Prakriti-Vikriti mix—it really tells you a lot. Once you tune into that, even small changes can make a huge diff. I try to give patients clear steps, not just theory—practical plans that they can actually follow in real life. Ayurveda works amazing if the plan fits the person—and that’s what I really focus on.
Achievements:
I am realy drawn to the chemistry side of Ayurveda—like the pharmacology part, Rasashastra too, it just makes sense to me. During my MD I got into some lab-based research where I ran in-vitro tests comparing anti-hyperlipidemic actions of diff Guggulu formulations. Wasn't easy lol but kinda eye-opening how much variation you can find in classical meds. I presented that work at a few conferences and got one paper published in the World Journal of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences. Not just for the sake of publishing—more about showing how these ancient drugs can hold their own when tested properly. Evidence-based Ayurveda matters to me a lot and I keep trying to link classical text learning with stuff that’s measurable n repeatable.

I am an Ayurvedic physician with an MD in Ayurveda (2020), and honestly—my clinical path kinda shaped itself around Panchakarma and women’s health because that’s where I naturally felt the most drawn. I’ve spent a good few years working closely with chronic cases, hormonal stuff, and folks just trying to feel better after long cycles of imbalance. During my time at Shathayu Ayurveda (which went on for over 2.5 yrs), I was lucky to get exposed to a huge variety of chronic conditions—autoimmune trends, PCOS, fertility issues, stress-related flare-ups—you name it. Working daily on Panchakarma protocols, adjusting therapies to fit each Prakriti-Vikriti combo, and honestly listening to what patients weren’t always saying—that’s where I learned the most. Right now I’m working as a consulting doctor at Dr. Rekha’s Ayurveda where I continue focusing on things like irregular cycles, menopause challenges, infertility blocks, and overall hormonal wellness in women. I also work a lot with detoxification—classic Panchakarma like Virechana, Basti, sometimes Nasya depending on the case. Immune support is a big thing too—especially for clients who are juggling fatigue, poor sleep or recurring infections after covid waves. I'm a big believer in foundational care. That means not just herbs and oils and therapies but working with people to understand what their digestion is saying, how their mental health weaves into their symptoms, and which habits they can actually sustain long term. Classical texts are always my guide but I’m also mindful about matching the language and pace of today’s patients—some are ready to go deep, others need a bit more anchoring. I try to meet them where they are without losing what Ayurveda stands for. Still learning, honestly. But each person teaches me something new & reminds me why I do this.
