thank you Dr

Thank you for reaching out and trusting this platform with your wife’s health journey. It is good to hear that her earlier issue of whote discharge as resolved, but the weight loss and easy tiredness show that her body is still recovering from internal depression. This kind of weakness after reproductive imbalance is quite common as the bodies, nourishment and strength often get reduced during or after such conditions.

From Ayurvedic point of view, this usually indicates lower digestive strength, mild nutrient deficiency and possible hormonal heart blood weakness. The aim now should be to rebuild our inner strength, slowly improving digestion, supporting proper absorption and nourishing all the body tissues, especially blood, muscle and reproductive tissues She can start with Shatavari kalpa -1 teaspoon twice daily warm milk after food Ashwagandha cap -one capsule twice daily after food with warm milk Drakshadi avaleha -1 teaspoon after lunch and dinner

Encourage or to include nourishing foods like Ghee milk, rice moong dal jaggery dates soaked almonds, bananas, and soft, cooked vegetables, a glass of milk with ghee and crushed dates at bedtime is a simple at powerful daily tonic She should avoid skipping meals over working or taking too many dry, spicy or cold food that disturbed digestion

To understand the underlying cause of weakness and guide the treatment better, it would be good to get a few basic investigations done like CBC THYROID PROFILE FBS VIT D3 VIT B12 levels Serum ferritin If he has irregular periods, then getting ultrasound abdomen with pelvis will be helpful to check uterine and Ovarian Health

For addressing your wife’s concerns with weight loss and fatigue, Ayurveda offers an individualized approach that considers her unique prakriti, or constitution, and any potential dosha imbalances. In her case, strengthening her body’s tissues and boosting energy is key. To start, focus on balancing her Vata dosha, as excessive Vata can lead to weight loss and fatigue.

First, adapt her diet to include more warm, nourishing foods. She should consume cooked meals that are easy to digest, like soups, stews, and porridges. Incorporate healthy fats such as ghee and olive oil to provide calories and nourish the tissues. Adding grounding spices such as ginger and cumin can stimulate her digestive fire, or agni, which is crucial for proper nutrient absorption.

Consider using Ashwagandha, an adaptogenic herb, which can aid in balancing energy levels and supporting overall strength. She may take Ashwagandha powder, about 1 tsp, mixed in warm milk or water before bed.

Since rest is equally vital, ensure she allots adequate time for sleep to allow the body to recuperate. Regular oil massage, or Abhyanga, with warm sesame oil can enhance circulation, calm the nervous system, and promote better relaxation.

Her daily routine should incorporate moderate, grounding exercises like yoga or walking, avoiding high-intensity workouts that might drain her further. Encourage the practice of Pranayama, particularly Nadi Shodhana, which supports energy and vitality.

Hydration is important; she should drink warm herbal teas, such as ginger or cinnamon, to enhance digestion and warmth. Avoid cold or uncooked foods that can aggravate Vata.

Keep track of her weight and energy. If she continues to experience significant weight loss or fatigue, it might be important to consult with a healthcare professional to rule out any underlying medical issues.

Thank you Dr.

Weight loss accompanied by tiredness could indicate an imbalance in her agni or vata dosha. To address these concerns, a holistic approach integrating diet, lifestyle, and herbal supplementation from Siddha-Ayurvedic tradition is beneficial.

First, ensure she maintains a balanced diet that supports kapha dosha to promote weight gain and strength. Include foods like whole grains (especially rice and oats), dairy products like milk and ghee, nuts such as almonds and cashews, and fruits like bananas and mangoes. These should be compatible with her constitution. Use spices like ginger and cumin in her meals to boost digestion without overstimulation.

As for supplements, Ashwagandha is a revered rasayana, known for increasing strength and weight. It reduces fatigue and supports overall vitality. Start with a small amount, perhaps half a teaspoon of Ashwagandha churna mixed in warm milk in the morning or before bed. Alternatively, consuming Shatavari, known for balancing hormones and enhancing stamina, could be beneficial. Ensure she takes it with a similar dosage.

Regular oil massages with warm sesame oil can pacify vata, nourish the body, and improve energy. Encourage rest and ensure sufficient sleep, as stress and inadequate rest can deplete energy levels and hinder healthy weight gain.

However, it’s crucial she consults with a healthcare professional to rule out underlying conditions that might require immediate medical attention, especially given recent weight loss and fatigue. Imbalances can be due to other health matters that require addressing through conventional means alongside Ayurvedic practices. Always prioritize safety and adjustments based on individual body’s response.
