Frequent Headaches and Body Aches - #39845

Client_71cae5

Along with that I get severe body aches as if every single part is hurting. Even after I take some painkillers the pain subsides but I feel very tired and zero energy. I live in USA so here my household work is too much. I used to work in IT but quit my job few months back. Headache frequency has reduced but body aches are still there.

1. Indukantha kashaya tablet 2-0-2 before food. 2. Draksharishtam 15ml + equal quantity of water just after food. 3. Mandoora vatakam 1 at lunch time with buttermilk after food.

Your condition seems to be due to thalassemia issue. If these medicines are not available there, then take 1. HEMIN syrup 1 tsp twice daily. 2. PRANADA tablet 1-0-1 after food.

Based on your symptoms, stress, lifestyle adjustments, and possible imbalance of Vata dosha could be contributory factors to your headaches and body aches. Ayurveda sees pain and energy depletion as signs of bodily imbalance, often with a disruption in doshas, particularly Vata, which can cause dry, cold, and erratic conditions.

Considering your thyroid condition and medication, it’s essential to balance Vata without affecting Kapha, as occurs with hypothyroidism. Focus on incorporating warming, nourishing routines and diet. Begin by adjusting your daily regimen to stabilize Vata: create a consistent schedule for meals, sleep, and activities. Try to sleep by 10 pm and wake up early; this aligns with the natural circadian rhythm that Ayurveda emphasizes.

Regarding diet, hot, moist, and grounding foods can help control Vata. Include whole grains like rice and barley, seasonal fruits and vegetables lightly cooked with ghee or sesame oil, which are Vata-pacifying. Introduce herbs like Ashwagandha and Shatavari to your routine as they can help with stress adaptation and strengthening the body. Consult with a local Ayurvedic practitioner to get precise formulations that suit your unique constitution and thyroid condition.

Self-massaging with warm sesame oil before a warm bath could help alleviate body aches and calm the nervous system. Practice gentle yoga or stretching focusing on relaxation, not exertion. Breathing exercises like Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) can calm the mind and help with energy balance.

Ensure you stay well-hydrated but avoid excessive raw foods or cold items that may increase Vata. Given the significance of your symptoms, keeping in touch with both your allopathic and Ayurvedic healthcare providers regularly is crucial. If any new symptoms develop, consult your doctor promptly.
