Namaste, In liver cirrhosis, feet swelling and abdominal bloating (fluid accumulation) are common and need proper medical monitoring, not just home remedies. Simple measures that may help: Reduce salt intake strictly, as salt increases fluid retention. Avoid heavy, oily, and processed foods. Take small, light meals, as bloating and early fullness are common. Maintain adequate rest and avoid overexertion. Keep a check on weight and swelling regularly. Most importantly, stay in regular follow-up with your doctor, as fluid accumulation may need medical treatment. Since symptoms are ongoing despite taking Liv52, your treatment plan may need review and adjustment. Ayurvedic medicines (Kerala Ayurveda) that may support fluid balance include: Kerala Ayurveda Punarnavadi Kashayam – traditionally used to support fluid balance and reduce swelling. Kerala Ayurveda Gokshuradi Guggulu – sometimes used to support urinary function and fluid metabolism. Do not depend only on medicines in cirrhosis—regular medical supervision is very important. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.

• Punarnavadi Kwath (200 Ml) - Kerala Ayurveda (Punarnavadi Kwath 200 Ml) — x3

Swelling in feet and abdominal bloating in cirrhosis indicates fluid accumulation, which in Ayurveda is a kapha and vata aggravated state with impaired liver function. So this needs careful management and not just leave 52 alone. You should rest restrict salt strictly avoid every oil food and take light easily digested diet like rice and moong dal. You can start with tablet Heposem one tablet twice daily after food Punarnavadi kashayam 15 ML with equal amount of water after meals Continue your allopathic treatment and do not stop it. This conditions requires regular monitoring and disciplined care to control, swelling, and prevent complications

–The feet swelling and bloated, “pregnant-like” abdomen strongly suggest: Fluid retention in the legs → called edema Fluid buildup in the abdomen → called ascites These are common complications of Liver cirrhosis, and they usually mean the condition has progressed or isn’t well controlled right now. – so without taking online medicines plz consult gastroenterologist immediately for proper evaluation

Hello, Cirrhosis with swelling and abdominal bloating needs serious medical supervision. Ayurveda can support- but not replace ongoing treatment . Your symptoms (long duration + abdominal distention) suggest fluid accumulation, so management must be disciplined and consistent Ayurvedic view -condition relates to liver disorder -involves imbalance of pitta + kapha + fluid accumulation (jalodar) Goal -reduce fluid -improve liver function -support digestion Internal medications 1) Livomyn syrup= 2 tsp twice daily after meals =supports liver + reduces inflammation 2) Punarnavadi kashayam= 15ml + equal water twice daily after meals =best for swelling and fluid retention 3) Chandraprabha gulika= 2 tabs twice daily after meals = helps water metabolism + urinary clearance 4) Arogavardhini vati= 1 tab twice daily after meals =improves liver + digestion very important External therapies -Mild oil massage with dhanwantaram taila =improves circulation, reduces edema Avoid strong Panchakarma Diet most important -warm, light foods -old rice, barley, green gram -boiled vegetables bottle gourd, ridge gourd -buttermilk with pinch of roasted cumin Avoid -salt very important- reduces swelling -fried, oily, spicy food -non veg, alcohol strictly No -packaged and bakery items Lifestyle -elevate legs while resting -avoid daytime sleep -gentle walking only no exertion -maintain bowel regularity no constipation Your symptoms suggest possible ascites, which can become serois You should -consult a gastroenterologist immediately check -liver function test -ultrasound abdomen Do not rely only on Liv52 or herbal remedies Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you
