Namaste, During pregnancy, especially in the first trimester, it is important to be very careful with herbs and supplements. Ashwagandha is generally not advised during pregnancy without medical supervision, as it may have strong effects on the body and is not routinely recommended in this phase. Simple ways to manage stress safely: Focus on adequate rest and proper sleep. Practice gentle breathing exercises or meditation. Take light walks and stay relaxed. Maintain a balanced, nourishing diet with warm, home-cooked food. Avoid anything that may overstimulate or strain the body. For pregnancy, the approach is always gentle nourishment and stability, not strong herbs. Ayurvedic medicines (Kerala Ayurveda) sometimes used under supervision include: Kerala Ayurveda Shatavari Gulam – traditionally used to support female health and nourishment. Kerala Ayurveda Sukumaram Kashayam – sometimes used in supervised care for women’s health support. Do not start any medicine on your own during pregnancy. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.

Ashwagandha is not recommended during pregnancy as it can cause uterine stimulation. To reduce stress You can use safer methods like Take Brahmi vati 0-0-1 at bedtime with milk. Do Nasya with Brahmi grith 2 drops in both nostril once daily Light Head massage with Brahmi oil.
