This looks like a mild muscle strain or minor abdominal discomfort. Since the pain is mild, localized, and only with movement, it is not serious right now. Take rest, avoid heavy activity, and use a warm compress. It should settle in a few days. If the pain increases or new symptoms like fever or vomiting appear, consult . –Diagnosis (Ayurvedic): Pakshva Shool / Mamsa-kshata (muscle strain) with mild Vata aggravation —Rx: 1) Aimil Rumalaya Forte 1 tab BD after food 2) Aimil Rumalaya Gel Local application TDS (gentle massage) 3) Aimil Neeri Syrup 2 tsp BD after food 4) tab trifla 1 at night with Luke warm water —Advice: Rest, avoid strain/heavy lifting Warm fomentation locally Light, easily digestible diet —Follow-up: 5 days or earlier if symptoms worsen

Hello, Based on what you described-mild, localised pain in the lower back right abdomenl/rib area, triggered by movement, no other symptoms, recent onset (<1 week)- this most common points to Likely causes (nothing alarming based on current signs) -Muscle strain (abdominal/intercoastal muscle)-> most likely due to posture, sudden movement, or strain -Gas trapping in ascending colon-> can cause mild right sided discomfort -Minor vata imbalance -> dryness + movement related pain Since your urine test is normal and no digestive/systemic symptoms are present, serious conditions are unlikely at this stage Root approach -This is primarily vata aggravation in the abdomen + muscle -So treatment= vata pacifying + mild anti-inflammatory + digestive correction Internal medications 1) Dhanwantaram gulika= 1 tab twice daily after meals = relieves muscle pain + vata imbalance 2) Hinguvachadii gulika= 1 tab twice daily before meals =reduces gas + abdominal discomfort 3) Dashmoolarishtam= 15ml + equal water twice daily after meals =anti inflammatory + vata balancing External treatment -Apply warm oil to painful area -gentle massage 5-10 min, twice daily Best for movement- related pain muscle Diet very important follow for 5-7 days -prefer warm, soft, light food -khichdi, soups, jeera rice Add hing + ajwain in food Avoid -cold foods, curd at night -heavy, oily, spicy, fried items -carbonated drink Lifestyle -avoid sudden twisting / bending movements -no heavy lifting for few days -gentle stretching only if pain allows -warm water sipping through day Recovery expectations -Muscle/gas related pain= improves in 3-5 days -Complete relief= within 1 week Even though current signs are mild, watch for these -pain becomes severe or constant -fever, vomiting, loss of appetite -pain shifts to lower abdomen sharply -pain while pressing/releasing abdomen Your case looks non-serious and reversible, most likely muscle strain + mild vata/gas issue Follow the above plan consistently- your should see clear relief in a few days Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you

Hello I understand mild pain in the lower right side can be concerning, but since it is recent, mild, and your reports are normal, it is usually not serious. This type of pain is most commonly due to muscle strain, gas accumulation, or mild intestinal spasm, especially if it increases with movement. For relief, keep things simple. Take warm water regularly and avoid heavy, spicy, or gas-forming foods for a few days. You can take Hingwashtak churna ½ tsp after meals with warm water to reduce gas and discomfort. Apply warm compress (hot water bag) on the area once or twice daily to relax the muscles. Avoid sudden movements, heavy exercise, or strain for a few days. If pain increases, becomes sharp, or is associated with fever, vomiting, or severe discomfort, then get it checked immediately. Otherwise, this should settle in a few days with simple care. Warm Regards Dr Raghuveer SN

This condition relates with mild imbalance of a apana vata or slight Liver spleen congestion 👇 1) dhanvantaram Kwath- 15 ml 30 minute before breakfast and dinner 2) Hingu vachadi churnam- 1)/2teaspoon toys daily after food with warm water 3) kalyanak ghritam- 1 teaspoon early morning on empty stomach 4) Dhanwantharam thailam- apply warm oil to the right rib area follow With warm compress Only consume warm or room-temperature water. Avoid ice-cold drinks, which can “freeze” Vata and worsen localized pain. Easy Digestion: Even if appetite is good, stick to Sattvic foods like Moong Dal Khichdi, steamed bottle gourd (Lauki), or pumpkin for 3-5 days to ensure no strain on the liver. Spices: Incorporate small amounts of ginger, cumin, and fennel into your cooking to maintain downward movement of Vata. Avoid: Stay away from dry foods (crackers, popcorn, dry toast) and heavy, gas-forming vegetables like cauliflower Avoid heavy lifting or sudden twisting of the torso, as you mentioned movement triggers the pain. After applying the Dhanwantharam Thailam, use a hot water bag on the lower right rib area for 10-15 minutes to relax the muscles and improve circulation. Ensure you are sleeping on a firm mattress and avoid sleeping on the right side if it puts direct pressure on the painful area.

Since your urinary reports are perfectly clear, your digestion is completely normal and the pain only worsens with specific movements, this clearly signifies a Muscular Strain or intercostal nerve irritation. It is highly unlikely to be an internal organ issue like a liver, gallbladder or kidney problem. The localized Vata in the rib muscles has been mildly aggravated, most likely due to an awkward sleeping posture, a sudden twisting movement or mild physical exertion. ✓Ayurvedic Prescription & Care 1. Local Oil Application (Abhyanga) Usage: Gently apply warm Mahanarayana Taila (or plain warm Sesame Oil) over the painful lower right rib area. Do not press hard or massage vigorously; simply spread the warm oil over the skin. 2. Local Heat Therapy (Swedana) Usage: Immediately after applying the oil, place a hot water bag or a warm towel over the area for 15 minutes. This localized Swedana will instantly relax the strained muscle fibers, improve blood flow, and release the trapped Vata. 3. Trayodashang Guggulu (If pain persists) Dosage: 2 tablets twice daily. Time: After meals with warm water. Action: This is a classical Ayurvedic formulation specifically designed to heal musculoskeletal strains, stiff back, and nerve-related rib pain. ✓Crucial Lifestyle Advice Strict Rest for the Muscle: Avoid lifting heavy objects, sudden twisting motions, or sleeping on your right side for the next 3 to 4 days to allow the muscle tissues to fully heal.
