Hi doctor am facing irregular periods after two months am getting the period .after getting the periods it's bleeding for 25-30 days

Irregular periods with bleeding for 25–30 days can be due to hormonal imbalance, PCOS, thyroid disorder, anemia, uterine fibroid, or endometrial problems. Please advise ultrasound pelvis, CBC, thyroid profile, and gynecologist evaluation if not done. Take Ashokarishta – 20 ml with equal water after meals twice daily Pushyanug Churna – 3 gm with rice washed water or honey twice daily Praval Pishti – 125 mg twice daily with honey Chandraprabha Vati – 2 tablets twice daily after food Diet: Avoid junk food, excess tea/coffee, curd at night, and very spicy foods. Take pomegranate, black raisins, leafy greens, and warm light food.

Irregular periods with very heavy bleeding for 25–30 days is commonly seen in Ayurveda due to Vata-Pitta imbalance, weight gain, hormonal disturbance, stress, and improper digestion/metabolism. It may also be associated with conditions like PCOS, thyroid imbalance, or uterine issues, so proper evaluation is important. Advice Avoid spicy, oily, junk, fermented, and very sour foods. Take light, warm, easily digestible meals. Reduce weight gradually with daily walking/yoga. Sleep on time and avoid stress. Medicines Ashokarishta – 15 ml with equal water after lunch and dinner. Pushyanug Churna – helps control excessive bleeding. Praval Pishti / Mukta Pishti – useful for excessive heat and heavy flow. If weight gain and irregular cycles are prominent, medicines for PCOS management may also be needed. Diet Support Include pomegranate, banana, black raisins, coconut water, and iron-rich foods. Drink enough water and avoid fasting.

Dx: Artava Dushti / Asrigdara Possible cause: Pitta–Rakta dushti with hormonal imbalance/PCOS/thyroid/fibroid possibility ----Advice: Heavy bleeding 25–30 days with clots is not normal. Gynecologist opinion + cbc, Hb, TSH, USG pelvis advised. —Rx: 1) Ashokarishta 15 ml + 15 ml water BD after food 2) Lodhra churna 3 g bd with honey/water 3) Praval Pishti 125 mg BD with honey 4) Shatavari churna 3 g at night with milk, if weakness/dryness present 5) lohasav 15 ml + 15 ml water after meal twice daily ----Diet: Avoid spicy, sour, fried, hot food, tea/coffee. Take pomegranate, coconut water, moong dal, rice, ghee in small quantity. —Emergency: If pad soaking every 1–2 hrs, dizziness, severe weakness — urgent hospital visit.
