Saraswatha Ghrita is an Ayurvedic medicine, in herbal ghee form.
Benefits:
It is used as medicine and also in preparatory procedure called snehakarma for the treatment of Speech delay, speaking difficulties, low intelligence and low digestion power in children.
It is also given as a general health tonic for children to improve speaking ability, memory power and intelligence.
Effect on Tridosha – Calms Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
Dosage:
As medicine – quarter to half teaspoon with water, usually before food, once or twice a day, or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
Saraswatha Ghrita Ingredients:
Goat milk – 3.072 liters
24 grams of each of
Trikatu – Pepper, long pepper and ginger
Patha – Cissampelos pareira
Ugra – Acorus calamus
and Shigru – Drum stick – Moringa oleifera
water – 3.072 liters
Ghee – 768 grams
The above combination is heated till herbal ghee is prepared.
