Vatari Guggulu is an Ayurvedic medicine in tablet form. This tablet has Guggulu (commiphora mukul) as its base. Vatari taila refers to Castor oil, the term vatari also refers to balancing Vata. Hence it is used in the treatment of Vata disorders like arthritis, aches and pains etc.
Vatari Guggulu benefits: 
It is widely used in the Ayurvedic treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, hip pain, sciatica, gout, joint pain, burning sensation. It is used even in chronic degenerative diseases.
Vatari Guggulu dosage: 
1 – 2 tablets 2 – 3 times a day, before or after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor. It is is usually advised for 2 – 3 months.
Vatari Guggulu Side Effects: 
There are no known side effects with this medicine. However it is best to use this product under medical supervision. 
Self medication with this medicine is discouraged.
Very high dose than prescribed may lead to stomach irritation.
Vatari Guggulu Ingredients: 
Vatari taila – Castor oil
Shuddha Gandhaka
Triphala – Haritaki – Terminalia chebula, Vibhitaki – Terminalia bellirica, Amla – Emblica officinalis
Guggulu – Purified Commiphora mukul.
All the above ingredients are pounded with guggulu and rolled into pills of uniform size of 500 mg.
