Directions for use
Take about 10 ml of karpooradi thailam in a bowl
Place the bowl in warm water. Check the temperature before applying, especially for children
Rub generously on the chest, back, neck, and mildly along with the sinuses
Follow with warm steam inhalation or apply a hot compress
To make a compress, place a handful of mustard seeds in a muslin cloth and tie the ends to make a potli
Gently warm the potli over a dry pan until it becomes slightly warm
Check the temperature of the potli before applying
Place the warm compress over the sinuses, on the chest, on the back, or along the neck, where you have applied the thailam
You can also rub karpooradi thailam on the sole to help reduce congestion at night and enjoy uninterrupted sleep
