Hello, Managing Type 2 diabetes and its complications like neuropathy requires a balanced approach that addresses both blood sugar stability and nerve health. Given your age and activity level, the focus is on pacifying Vata (which governs the nervous system) and regulating Agni (metabolic fire). In Ayurveda, diabetic neuropathy is viewed as Prameha Upadrava (a complication of diabetes) caused by an imbalance of Vata and Pitta in the Rasa and Rakta (blood) tissues. The stiffness and tingling you feel are classic signs of Vata vitiation. While your herbal kadha contains excellent anti-inflammatory ingredients, high blood sugar levels (175–255 mg/dL) are likely the primary driver of your nerve symptoms. Frequent urination (Prabhoota Mutrata) indicates that the body is trying to flush out excess glucose. Ayurveda Medicines : 1. Glymin Plus Tablet This is a primary supplement for managing blood glucose levels and supporting pancreatic function. Dose: 2 tablets twice daily, 30 minutes before meals. 2. Liposem Tablet Useful for managing metabolic disturbances and supporting healthy circulation, which is vital for foot health. Dose: 2 tablets twice daily after food. 3. Dhanwantharam Thailam (For External Application) Since you already massage your legs, using this specific medicated oil is highly effective for Vata disorders and nerve strength. Usage: Apply warm oil to the legs and feet, massage gently in a downward motion, and leave for 30 minutes before a warm bath. 4. Ksheerabala (101) Capsule This is a potent version of Ksheerabala oil used internally to strengthen the nervous system and relieve tingling/stiffness. Dose: 1 capsule twice daily with warm water or milk after food. Your current sugar levels (up to 255 mg/dL) are high enough to cause ongoing nerve damage. It is crucial to consult your physician to adjust your primary diabetic medication alongside these supplements. Since you work in the field and drink 3–4 liters of water, ensure you are also getting electrolytes. Excessive water intake can sometimes strain the kidneys if glucose is high. Your current kadha is very “ushna” (heating). At 71, excessive use of dry spices like black pepper, ginger, and garlic can sometimes aggravate Vata dryness. Ensure you continue your vegetarian diet with adequate healthy fats like cow’s ghee to lubricate the system.

Your symptoms suggest uncontrolled Type 2 Diabetes with early Diabetic Neuropathy. The current sugar levels (175–255) are high, so correction is necessary. The kada alone will not reverse neuropathy, but proper Ayurvedic + lifestyle management can significantly improve your condition. This condition is mainly “Madhumeha” with Vata aggravation affecting nerves (causing tingling, stiffness). Management Plan 1. Control Blood Sugar Continue your prescribed medicines regularly Methi (fenugreek) soaked overnight – good, continue Your herbal kada is helpful but keep it mild, avoid excess spices 2. Diet (Vegetarian) Prefer: Whole grains (barley, millets) Green vegetables, karela, lauki, neem leaves (in small amount) Protein: moong dal, paneer (limited) Avoid: Sugar, sweets, refined flour, excess rice, potatoes Take dinner light and before 8 PM 3. For Neuropathy (Tingling/Stiffness) Daily warm oil massage (Abhyanga) – very good, continue Use sesame oil or medicated oil (like Mahanarayan oil) Gentle walking + foot exercises Keep feet warm, avoid walking barefoot 4. Frequent Urination Daytime urination 4–5 times is normal if you drink 3–4L water Since night urination is only once → no major concern Avoid excess fluids after evening 5. Ayurvedic Support Gudmar, Jamun seed powder Chandraprabha Vati (for urinary balance) Ashwagandha (for nerve strength)

Remember diabetes is a lifestyle disorder and only medicines cannot do anything. Medicines with major lifestyle changes will only help to keep your sugar levels in control. If you continue this lifestyle for whole life than you can term diabetes reversal. If not change in lifestyle diabetes will increase only. The kadha you are taking will not do any miracle as your sugar levels are too high. Follow this below mentioned lifestyle and add these mdications. ✔️ Do ✔️ Drink buttermilk Shift to millet roti Dinner at 7.30 or 8 100 steps daily after both meals Best to have lunch at 11.30-12 and dinner at 7.30-8 Fast for atleast 14 hours daily. You can have buttermilk, black tea, green tea, black coffee. Rigorous exercise for 1 hour or brisk walking for 6kms daily IS MUST. ❌Don’t❌ Anything white like wheat, refined flour, sugar, salt, potato, sweet potato Oily food Packed food Processed food Ready to eat food Dairy products 💊 Medication 💊 Tab. Rasapachak Vati 2 tabs twice a day before food Tab. Zpter 2 tabs twice a day before food Tab. Laghumalni vasant 1 tabs twice a day before food Syp. Patolkaturohinyadi Kashayam 3 tsp twice a day before food. Tab. Shankhavati 2 tabs after food twice a day after food suck and eat Castor oil 1 cup water + ¼ tsp dry ginger powder boil to ½ cup and take 3 tsp castor oil at bed time
