Hello, Diet-lifestyle modifications: 1. Eat freshly cooked warm food which is less spicy-salty and oily. 2. Drink ajwain tea 3 cups a day 3. Drink warm water which is boiled with 1/4 tsp of dry roasted jeera 4. Maintain a regular food timings 5. Eat fruits mid morning and mid afternoon(banana-apples-papaya) 6. Dinner to be taken 2 hours before going to bed. 7. Go to bed in the night and wake up in the morning in a fixed time. 8. Start your day with a cup of hot water. 9. Learn and practice yogasana 40 minutes a day.

Medicines: 1. Avipatti choorna 1 tsp at bedtime with warm milk/warm water for 30 days. 2. Syrup Ulsant D 10 ml 30 minutes before breakfast and dinner for 30 days. 3. Indukantham kashayam 20 ml by adding 80ml of boiled cooled water 45 minutes after breakfast and 45 minutes after diner 4. Vayu gulika 2 tablets with medicine no.3 medicine no.3 and medicine no.4 for 45 days.

I usually see anywhere around 50 to 60 patients a day, sometimes more if there's a health camp or local rush. It’s hectic, but I kinda thrive in that rhythm. What matters to me is not the number but going deep into each case—reading every complaint, understanding symptoms, prakriti, current state, season changes etc. and putting together a treatment that feels “right” for that person, not just for the condition. Like, I don’t do one-size-fits-all plans. I sit down, make case reports (yup, proper handwritten notes sometimes), observe small shifts, modify herbs, suggest diet tweaks, even plan rest patterns when needed. I find that holistic angle super powerful. And patients feel it too—some who come in dull n restless, over weeks show clarity, skin settles, energy kinda gets back... that makes the day worth it tbh. There’s no shortcut to trust, and i get that. Maybe that’s why patients keep referring their siblings or maa-papa too. Not bragging, but when people say things like “you actually listened” or “I felt heard”, it stays in the back of my mind even when I’m dog tired lol. My goal? HELLO SUMEDHA JI, I recommend the following treatment plan for you- Treatment - 1.Abhyaristha -4tsp with 4tsp lukewarm water twice a day after meal 2. Arogyavardhni vati -2-0-2 after meal 3.Triphla churna - 1 tsp with lukewarm water at bedtime.

Diet- 1.Eat fibre rich food like salad, fruits,whole grains. 2.Eat apples, orange,oats, soaked and peeled almonds. 3.Adequate amount of water. 4.Avoid items made of maida like bread,buns,pizza, noodles, packaged snacks. 5. Drink hot milk daily. 6. Drink 2-3 glasses of warm water empty stomach. 7. Always take warm and freshly prepared food. 8. Avoid fried food,spicy ,oily ,fast food.

Yoga- Mandookasana, vajrasana, kapalbhati, malasana.

Lifestyle modifications - Don’t ignore constipation problem as it can to many diseases in the future. Avoid those food items when causes constipation. Walk for atleast 30 minutes after dinner. Panchakarma for me is not just detox or some fancy retreat thing — it’s the core of how Ayurveda actually works to reset the system. It's not just about performing the therapy, but understanding timing, patient strength, diet before and after, and how their mind-body reacts to cleansing. Some respond quick, others struggle with initial discomfort, and that’s where real patient support matters. I learnt to watch closely, adjust small details, and guide them through the whole process safely. My approach is always patient-centric. I don’t believe in pushing the same package to everyone. I first assess prakriti, agni, mental state, lifestyle, then decide what works best. Sometimes full Panchakarma isn’t even needed — simple modifications, herbs, or limited therapy sessions can bring results. And when full shodhana is required, I plan it in detail with proper purvakarma & aftercare, cause that’s what makes outcomes sustainable. The last few years made me more confident not just in procedures but in the philosophy behind them. Panchakarma isn’t a quick fix — it demands patience, discipline, trust. But when done right, it gives relief that lasts, and that’s why I keep refining how I practice it.

Your symptoms suggest an imbalance that may involve your doshas, particularly Vata and Pitta. Constipation and gas are often linked to Vata imbalances, while inflammation can signify heightened Pitta. Focus on harmonizing these doshas to restore balance and digestion.

Begin with your diet. Favor warm, cooked meals with plenty of spices like cumin, ginger, and fennel to stimulate digestion and reduce gas. Avoid raw and cold foods that aggravate Vata, and also steer clear of excessively spicy or sour foods that might inflame Pitta. Drink warm water throughout the day; it’s calming for both dosha imbalances. For constipation, sip ginger tea, which aids digestion, one to two times a day.

Your meals should be regular, one key step is to have meals at the same time every day to regulate the Agni, your digestive fire. Avoid skipping meals or erratic eating patterns, as they can upset digestion. Incorporate ghee in your diet—it lubricates the intestines and promotes bowel movements.

COMMON TRIGGERS -irregular eating habits -skipping meals, late eating -excess consumption of junk ,spicy, fried, or cold foods - suppression natural urges like urge to pass stool or gas -sedentary lifestyle -stress, anxiety, or overthinking - inadequate sleep

All these disturb your Agni (digestive fire)-> lead to ama (toxins)-> cause vata and pitta imbalance

I spend time with classical diagnosis—checking Prakriti, figuring out doshas, seeing how much of this is physical and how much is coming from daily routine or emotional burnout. And treatments? Usually a mix of traditional Ayurvedic meds, Panchakarma (only if needed!!), changing food habits, tweaking the daily rhythm, and honestly... just slowing down sometimes. I’m also really into helping ppl understand themselves better—like once someone gets how their body is wired, things make more sense. I talk to patients about what actually suits their dosha, what throws them off balance, and how they can stop chasing quick fixes that don’t stick. Education's a big part of it. And yes, I’ve had patients walk in for constant cold and walk out realizing it’s more about weak agni n poor gut routines than just low immunity. Every case’s diff. Some are simple. Some not. But whether it’s a young woman trying to fix her cycles without hormones or a 6-year-old catching colds every week, I try building plans that last—not just short term relief stuff. Healing takes time and needs trust from both sides. End of the day, I try to keep it rooted—classical where it matters but flexible enough to blend with the world we're livin in rn. That balance is tricky, but worth it.
