Dr. Rohit Parashar
Experience: | 6 years |
Education: | Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences |
Academic degree: | Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery |
Area of specialization: | I am having more than 4 yrs of experience in managing a range of chronic and complex conditions, and over time my focus slowly moved toward cases that need patience and steady follow-up rather than quick fixes. My work mostly revolves around skin disorders like psoriasis and eczema, where I try to understand triggers, dietary habits, and long-term imbalances, though sometimes results takes time and require consistent efforts.
I am also involved in treating neurological and musculoskeletal conditions such as Parkinson's disease, hemiplegia, paraplegia, tendonitis, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis. These cases often need careful planning of medicines, lifestyle correction and gradual rehabilitation, and I usually keep reviewing progress again and again, just to make sure nothing important is missed. There are times when patients feels unsure about long treatment duration, but steady guidance often makes the process smoother,
Another area I frequently deal with is weight control and metabolic balance, where I try to combine dietary regulation with Ayurvedic management in a practical way. My approach remain patient-centered, focusing on understanding each individual’s condition rather than following a single fixed method, though learning still feels ongoing and sometimes challanging. |
Achievements: | I am involved in submitting research on Ayurvedic management of Parkinson's disease, including cases of chorea associated with Parkinson's, and that work gave me deeper clinical intrest in neuro-degenerative care. I am also managing autoimmune conditions like Gillian barrie syndrome, Raynauds and RA, where careful long-term follow up was often neccessary, and sometimes results comes slow but steady. |
I am someone who worked at Ayush Ayurveda Hospital, Kerala, and that time really shaped how I look at patient care and daily practice. Being in Kerala, where Ayurveda is practiced in its classical and practical form, gave me a strong base in understanding how traditional Ayurvedic principles are actually applied in real-life clinical settings, not just in books or theory. During my work at Ayush Ayurveda Hospital, I was involved in managing patients with a wide range of health concerns, and learned how to observe small details that sometimes gets missed if one is rushing. The environment there demanded patience and careful assesment of each individual, because every patient comes with a different prakriti and different challenges. I found that listening closely to patient history, lifestyle, and dietary habits often helped in identifying the root cause of the problem, though at times it took longer than expected and needed extra attension. Working in a hospital setting also helped me understand the importance of disciplined treatment planning, including proper use of Ayurvedic medicines, therapies, and lifestyle guidance. There were days when cases felt simple, and other days when I had to re-think my approach again and again, just to make sure the plan was suitable for the patient. That process made me more careful and aware in my clinical decisions, even when things did not move as quickly as hoped, I continue to value the practical exposure I gained during my time at Ayush Ayurveda Hospital, Kerala, as it helped me build confidence in handling patients and applying Ayurvedic concepts in a structured yet flexible way. Even now, I try to follow the same principles of attentive care, thoughtful observation, and consistent follow-up, though sometimes learning still feels ongoing and never fully complete, which I think is how medical practice should be.
