Area of specialization:
I am deeply involved in treating 4 areas mainly—metabolic, skin, joints, and gyne problems. In metabolic issues, I deal with stuff like obesity, diabetes, thyroid stuff, acidity, and just gut going off track. I usually start with ayurvedic meds & detox therapy, but that’s not all... I push for diet-fixes too, coz without it the cycle just continues, right? When it comes to skin, I see lot of acne, eczema, psoriasis, scalp irritation (esp. dandruff+alopecia), fungal patches. I go with a combo of herbal external stuff + internal shodhan. Usually works best when ppl follow food advice I give, even if they don’t like hearing “no curd at night” lol. Anyway, I treat what's seen on skin and the doshas inside—both. Now joints. It’s not always age. I manage rheumatoid arthritis, gout, cervical issues, even frozen shoulder. My approach here is bit hands-on… snehan, swedan, and meds for vata imbalance. I don’t jump to deep virechan or anything unless rly needed. Gyne area, I see lot of PCODs, painful menses, cysts etc. For that I focus on dosha-hormone link. Cleanse + herbal balance + garbhsanskar if woman is trying to conceive. My motto? Heal deep & guide long-term. Mistakes do happen but trying everyday is kinda the point.
Achievements:
I am someone who literally finds meaning in watching patients get better. Not just like, "oh the fever’s gone," but when long-time gut issues or skin flare-ups or hormone stuff starts shifting, for real. I consider it a small win every time someone sleeps better, digests well or doesn’t need pain meds anymore coz their body’s adjusting right. My biggest achievement? Honestly, restoring health in real humans, not charts. That part really stays with me.. always does somehow.

I am Dr Purva Balkrishna Amin, an Ayurved Consultant who’s mostly into treating chronic and lifestyle-linked stuff, like metabolic issues, gynac conditions, joint probs (the kind that just hang around forever), and yeah—skin too. I use a mix of palliative methods and deep internal cleansing…what we call biopurificatory therapy in Ayurveda, which honestly makes such a huge diff when you do it right. Some cases need just balance, others demand a full reset—and that’s where I come in. I mostly rely on ayurvedic meds, no shortcuts. But that’s never enough on its own. I do prescribe diet, very customized ones actually—'cause two people with same problem may still need very different food habits. Same with movement. If I feel like the patient’s routine or prakriti needs a tweak, I also suggest an exercise plan. It’s not gym talk, I mean stuff that suits their doshas and energy. And I ask them to stick with it not out of pressure but bcoz consistency is kinda everything if you want real healing and not just temp relief. I do believe discipline matters. Like not the harsh kinda discipline, but the slow, quiet kind where ppl just stay true to their healing plan. That’s when body starts to change, symptoms slow down, and confidence builds. Also I try to keep the vibe human...not every condition is curable maybe, but every person is treatable, that’s the line I keep in mind. Every case teaches me something new too...and I don’t mind admitting I still pause before complicated diagnoses sometimes, not bcoz of doubt but because Ayurveda has layers, and it makes you think deeper if you're doing it honestly. I aim to bring that level of care to whoever walks in.
