Namaste, Fennel, cumin, and coriander tea is commonly used in Ayurveda to support digestion and reduce bloating, and it usually does not cause swelling. Gokshuradi Guggul is also traditionally used to support urinary health and fluid balance. Foot swelling developing within a short time may sometimes be related to fluid retention, prolonged standing, circulation issues, kidney function, or other health conditions, rather than these herbs alone. Simple measures that may help: Observe if the swelling reduces after resting or elevating the feet. Avoid excessive salt intake and very heavy meals at night. Maintain regular walking and gentle movement to support circulation. If swelling persists, increases, or appears on both feet, it is important to consult a doctor to rule out other causes. You may temporarily pause the medicines for a few days and observe if the swelling changes, which can help identify if they are contributing. Ayurvedic medicines sometimes used to support fluid balance include: Punarnava – traditionally used to support fluid metabolism and reduce swelling. Gokshuradi Guggul – sometimes used to support urinary health and fluid balance. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.
HELLO, Yes- it could be related, but its not very common. A few possibilities to consider with your herbal tea and Gokshuradi guggulu 1) HERBAL TEA INREDIENTS Your tea contains fennel, cumin and coriander. These are usually mild diuretics and digestive herbs -FENNEL= often reduces bloating and fluid retention -CUMIN= digestie, generally neutral for fluid balance -CORIANDER= mild diuretic Because they tend to help remove excess fluid, they are unlikely to cause swelling in the feet 2) GOKSHURADI GUGGULU This formula usually contains herbs like gokshura and guggulu Traditionally it is used for -urinary support -kidney function -reducing water retention So foot swelling is not a typical effect. However, rare situations can occur -individual sensitivity to Guggulu -electrolyte imbalance if urination increases -underlying kidney/heart/circulation issue appearing coincidentally TIMING MATTERS Since you said the swelling started within the last week, -did the swelling been after starting the Gokshuradi gugulu ? -Is it both feet or just one? -Does it improve overnight or when you elevate your test Simple test A practical way to check -stop the Gokshuradi gugulu for 5 days -continue normal hydration -see If the swelling resolves If it improves, the supplement may be contributing Kindly go for investigation -LFT -RFT -urine examination -CBC, CRP Your fennel-cumin-coriander tea is unlikely to cause swelling. The gokshuradi guggulu could theoretically cause a reaction. But it’s UNCOMMON. A short pause is the easiest way to check DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU

Herbal Tea (fennel, cumin, coriander)— - These spices are generally considered safe in small amounts and are often used for digestion and mild detox. - They are not commonly linked to swelling in the feet. Gokshuradi Guggulu— - This is an Ayurvedic formulation traditionally used for urinary health, kidney support, and sometimes joint issues. - It can act as a mild diuretic in some people, but in others, depending on body constitution or underlying conditions, it may cause fluid retention. - Scientific evidence on side effects is limited, but swelling (edema) can sometimes be a sign of how your body is reacting to herbs or supplements. Water Intake— - Drinking 2–3 liters daily is generally healthy, but if your body is retaining fluid, even normal intake can contribute to swelling.
Do not take more fluids Limit fluids to below 2 litres in a day Continue Gokahuradi guggulu along with that take punarnavadi mandura 1-0-1 Once get HB sr Creat us abdomen and urine routine to know the exact cause

Your tea is not the cause. Most likely reasons for recent foot swelling (unrelated to your teas): Prolonged standing/sitting High-salt meal the day before Hot weather / poor venous return Mild hormonal fluctuation Early sign of ankle strain or minor injury ✓What to do right now (keep your routine – it’s good) Continue both teas exactly as you are doing Elevate feet 15–20 min 2–3×/day (legs above heart level) Wear loose socks/shoes, avoid tight bands Add gentle ankle pumps & calf stretches 2×/day Reduce salt for 3–5 days (no added salt, no processed food) Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma
