Doctors' responses

🔥 Does high Pitta mean good digestion? Not always. Balanced Pitta (Samagni) → strong, stable digestion ✔️ Aggravated Pitta (Tikshnagni) → very sharp digestion but irritating & damaging ❌ Later stage imbalance → can lead to Vishamagni (irregular digestion) or even weak digestion 👉 So excess Pitta can initially increase digestion, but long-term it damages gut lining → leading to your symptoms. 🧠 Your symptom pattern (important insight) You have a mixed dosha condition, not just Pitta: 🔴 Pitta symptoms: Acidity Burning in anus Loose motions Skin rashes Triggered by spicy food 🌬️ Vata symptoms (very important here): Bloating Dry skin (earlier oily → now dry) Feeling cold Irregular digestion when taking cooling herbs Sluggish digestion after Pitta medicines 👉 This shows: Pitta aggravated + Vata aggravated (especially in colon) ⚠️ What likely happened (root cause) Initially → High Pitta (tikshna agni) Over time → Pitta burned body fluids (dhatu kshaya) This caused → Vata aggravation Now condition = 👉 Pitta + Vata imbalance (especially Grahani / IBS-like pattern) ❄️ Why Kashmir improved everything? This is a very strong diagnostic clue 👇 Kashmir climate = cool, moist, grounding It reduced Pitta ✔️ It also calmed Vata ✔️ 👉 That’s why: Skin improved Digestion normalized Cold sensation reduced (because Vata stabilized) BUT: Sticky stool = mild Kapha increase (normal adjustment) 👉 This confirms: Your body needs cooling + grounding, not just cooling alone 🚫 Why Pitta medicines are worsening you Most Pitta herbs are: Cold + light (sheeta + laghu) 👉 These: Reduce Pitta ✔️ But increase Vata ❌ So you feel: More cold Weak digestion Bloating ✅ Correct understanding of your condition 👉 This is NOT pure Pitta 👉 It is: 👉 Pitta–Vata imbalance with Grahani tendency 🌿 What you should do (practical plan) 1. Diet correction (MOST IMPORTANT) Avoid: Spicy, sour, fried Tea/coffee excess Raw food, salads (increase Vata) Cold drinks Take: Warm, slightly oily food Moong dal, rice, khichdi Ghee (very important for Vata + Pitta balance) Jeera + saunf + dhania water Buttermilk with roasted jeera (if suits) 2. Herbs (balanced approach ⚖️) ❌ Avoid only cooling herbs like: Only Giloy, Neem, etc. ✅ Better combination: avipattikar churna (for Pitta + gut) Kutajghan vati (for loose motion) shatavari + yashtimadhu (mulethi) → soothing but nourishing small dose hing + ajwain after meals (for Vata) 👉 Key: not too cooling, not too drying 3. Lifestyle avoid late nights eat on time (very important for Agni) Do not skip meals (your appetite is strong) gentle yoga (not excessive heat-producing) 4. Oil therapy (very helpful) daily abhyanga (oil massage) with sesame or coconut oil 👉 This will: reduce Vata improve dryness stabilize digestion indirectly
