Hello, High thyroid antibodies (like TPO or TgAb) usually indicate an autoimmune process where the body attacks the thyroid gland. In Ayurveda, this is often viewed as a state of Ama (toxic metabolic waste) affecting the Agni (metabolic fire) and disrupting the Mamsa and Meda dhatus (tissues). Since you are looking for a focused Kerala Ayurveda approach to address this immune dysregulation and reduce inflammation: The goal is to detoxify the system, balance the Vata-Kapha doshas, and modulate the immune response (Ojas). Treatment focuses on “Deepana-Pachana” (enhancing digestion and clearing toxins) to stop the autoimmune trigger. 1. Varunadi Kwath Liquid : Action: Helps in clearing channels and reducing glandular swelling or growths. Dose: 15 ml liquid with 45 ml lukewarm water (or 2 tablets) twice daily, 30 minutes before food. 2. Kanchanar Guggulu Action: The classic formulation for thyroid and lymphatic health; helps “scrape” away Ama and reduce antibody activity. Dose: 2 tablets twice daily after food with lukewarm water. 3. Amritarishtam Action: An immunomodulator containing Guduchi (Giloy) that helps stabilize an overactive immune system. Dose: 20 ml with equal quantity of water twice daily after food. You can start my personal consultation also to regular followup and monitoring of your anti TPO antibody. And no need to worry about this condition. I have experience of treating anti TPO 276 to normal range. It’s possible through Ayurveda. Just you have to follow some rules of diet, lifestyle and should take medicines properly according to your thyroid profile reports.

I understand that seeing thyroid antibodies high again and again can create worry in your mind but I want to reassure you that this is a manageable condition when approached correctly In your case this indicates that your immune system is reacting against your own thyroid gland which in modern terms is considered an autoimmune tendency and in Ayurveda we understand this as a disturbance in agni along with accumulation of ama and imbalance of vata and kapha dosha This does not always mean that your thyroid function is damaged immediately but it shows that your body is under a long standing internal imbalance especially related to digestion metabolism and stress handling capacity When agni becomes weak food is not properly digested and this leads to ama formation which circulates in the body and starts affecting different tissues including the thyroid and over time the immune system becomes irregular and starts reacting in this manner So in your treatment we will not focus only on the thyroid but we will correct the root cause by improving digestion clearing ama and balancing your doshas slowly and steadily Along with that we support the thyroid gland so that it can function properly and prevent further damage You can start with Kanchanar Guggulu one tablet twice daily after food Varunadikwath fifteen ml with equal quantity of warm water twice daily before food and Gandharvahastadi Kashayam fifteen ml with equal quantity of warm water at night before food for clearing ama and regulating metabolism Along with this take Ashwagandhado lehyam One teaspoon with warm milk at bedtime for supporting stress and immunity If there is heaviness or sluggish digestion Trikatu churna one pinch with honey before food can be added Your treatment will include strict dietary and lifestyle guidance because without correcting food habits and daily routine medicines alone will not give lasting results Warm freshly cooked food regular meal timings good sleep and stress control will play a very important role in your healing process Avoid cold food excess curd processed items and day sleep as these increase kapha and ama Do not worry too much about the antibody levels alone many people have high antibodies for years without major issues but we will monitor your thyroid function regularly and ensure that the condition does not progress With proper Ayurvedic care your system can be brought back into balance and your overall health can improve gradually You can share your detailed reports and symptoms with me so that I can guide you more specifically according to your condition
