Namaste,
As you mentioned that you have family history of heart disease you must take this seriously
Being honest with you medicine alone can’t completely cure your lipid profile ( cholestrol levels ) you have to increase your physical activity too& modification in your diet plan . Avoid 1. Smoking ,alcohol ,tobacco if you consume any As they decrease HDL ( good cholestrol also) 2. Heavy diet after 8. Pm 3. Stress 4. Fried & junk food Do s 1. Do 20 min walk daily 2. Sleep before 11pm 3. Consume more Fibre ( Atleast 3 times in a week eat millet chapati) 4. Do some yoga exercises Rx 1. Asth choornam 3gm with water before meal twice a day 2.Amruto tharam kwath 20 ml with equal water after meal twice a day 3. Liposem 2tab with water after food twice a day

• Ashta Choornam (50 Gm) - Kerala Ayurveda (Ashta Choornam 50 Gm) — x1 • Amruthotharam Kwath (200 Ml) - Kerala Ayurveda (Amruthotharam Kwath 200 Ml) — x2 • Liposem Plus Tablet (100 Nos) - Kerala Ayurveda (Liposem Plus 100 Nos) — x1

Guggul - Commiphora mukul • Classical Ayurvedic drug for “Medoroga” यानी fat disorders • Triphala Guggulu, Medohar Guggulu specifically weight और lipids के लिए use होते हैं • Guggulsterones LDL और triglycerides कम करने में research में दिखे हैं • Note: Blood thinners के साथ interact कर सकता है 3. Diet: Kapha-reducing - कम fried, dairy, sweets। ज्यादा green veggies, barley, moong dal, warm water 2. Exercise: Daily 30-45 min brisk walk या yoga - Surya Namaskar, Kapalabhati 3. Hello, In Ayurveda, high cholesterol is often viewed as an imbalance of Meda Dhatu (fat tissue) and a weakening of Agni (metabolic fire), leading to the accumulation of Ama (metabolic toxins) in the circulatory channels. To manage this, the focus is on clearing these blockages and improving fat metabolism. 1. Liposem Tablets This is a specialized proprietary formulation from Kerala Ayurveda for lipid management. It helps normalize lipid profiles and prevents oxidative damage to blood vessels. Dose: 2 tablets two times a day after food. 2. Varunadi Kwath A potent decoction used to reduce excess fat and clear the body’s internal channels. It is particularly effective for “Kapha-Medas” imbalances. Dose: 15 ml mixed with 60 ml of lukewarm water, twice daily, 30 minutes before food. 3. Guggulutikhthaka Ghritam (Capsule form) While it contains ghee, when processed with these specific bitter herbs, it helps in scraping away deep-seated toxins and regulating cholesterol. Dose: 1 to 2 capsules twice daily before food.

High cholesterol mainly needs lifestyle correction + support medicines, only tablets alone are not enough for long-term control. Daily walking (30–40 min) is very important. Avoid oily, fried, bakery, and processed foods. Reduce sugar and increase fiber (salads, oats, vegetables). Use light oils and keep meals simple. At home, you can take 1 tsp garlic daily or warm water with lemon in the morning. This helps in lipid control. Arogyavardhini vati – 1 tablet twice daily after food Triphala Guggulu – 1 tablet twice daily after food Arjuna capsule – 1 capsule twice daily These help in reducing cholesterol levels and supporting heart health. Take regularly for a few weeks along with lifestyle changes for better results. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)
