According to your condition, It is important to approach the combination of Arjunarishta and cardiovascular medications like blood thinners and nitroglycerin with caution. While Terminalia arjuna (the primary ingredient in Arjunarishta) is necessary in Ayurveda for supporting cardiac muscle tone, it possesses natural properties that may overlap with your current allopathic medications . Important Considerations:—- Arjuna has mild anti-platelet activity. When taken alongside prescription blood thinners, it may theoretically increase the risk of bruising and bleed. Since you rarely monitor your blood pressure, you might not notice if this combination is causing fluctuations in bp *Use arjunarhista — it’s good but the dose you are using it a little more so reduce it a little bit . Modified Dosage: Reduce to 15 ml (instead of 25 ml) mixed with an equal amount of lukewarm water. • Timing: Take it twice daily, approximately 1 hour after your morning and evening meals. “Ensure there is a 2-hour gap between your Ayurvedic dose and your allopathic medications to prevent immediate interaction in the gut.” For Additional Support you can take — *Lipisem Tablets : used for lipid metabolism and heart health. Dosage: 1 tablet twice daily after food. Do’s: • Frequent Monitoring: Purchase a digital BP monitor and check your readings at the same time every morning and evening for at least two weeks. • You must inform your cardiologist about the Arjunarishta. • Dietary Fiber: Include Garlic (Lashuna) and Ginger (Ardraka) in small culinary amounts to naturally support circulation. Don’ts: •Do not stop your allopathic medications to increase Ayurvedic doses. • Avoid excessively salty, oily, or fermented foods that increase water retention and put pressure on the heart.

Arjunarishta has cardio-tonic + mild BP lowering effect. With BP medicines + nitroglycerin + blood thinners, there is risk of additive effect → low BP, dizziness, bleeding tendency.

Keep a watch on your B.P readings and lipid profile. Also keep a followup with your cardiologist. He may alter your allopathy medications if required. Also you can keep your Arjunarishta dose 20ml once a day.

Arjunarishta is an excellent cardiac tonic, combining it with blood thinners and nitroglycerin creates a high risk for excessive bleeding and dangerously low blood pressure. Because you are currently not monitoring your BP regularly and your primary doctor is unaware of this mix, the safest course of action is to pause the Arjunarishta until you receive a formal clearance from your cardiologist to ensure these treatments aren’t working against each other. Because the potential benefits of combining two treatments are never worth their is always a risk risk of dangerous side effect If the combination make your blood two thin or your blood pressure to low the extra benefit you were hoping for becomes your major danger You should not continue arjunaarista until we are 100% sure that the combination won’t hurt your safety

Hello, Yes, you can take in the dose of 15ml by adding equal quantity of boiled warm water one hour after your BP medication and nitroglycerin. Take care, Kind regards.

Hello dear, Managing cardiovascular health with both Ayurveda and Allopathy requires careful coordination. While Arjunarishta is a renowned cardiotonic, combining it with potent pharmaceutical agents like blood thinners and nitroglycerin involves significant interactions. Arjunarishta can lower blood pressure. Taking it with antihypertensives may lead to an additive effect, potentially causing hypotension (excessively low blood pressure), dizziness, or fainting. Both nitroglycerin and Arjunarishta can act as vasodilators. Combining them may cause your blood pressure to drop too quickly. In Ayurveda, chronic heart conditions are often viewed as an imbalance of Vyana Vata (the sub-dosha governing circulation) and Hridaya Avalambaka Kapha (which protects the heart). Arjunarishta is used to strengthen the Hridaya (heart) and balance these doshas. However, since you have been taking it for three years alongside intensive allopathic therapy, your body’s “set point” for blood pressure and coagulation is being influenced by both. It is generally not recommended to continue this combination without strict monitoring of your Prothrombin Time (PT/INR) and daily blood pressure readings… You can take further my personal consultation with your current Lipid profile, blood pressure readings and other vital investigations. We will start some Ayurveda Medicines which are safe along with current allopathy meodicne as well as can help to improve current status of pathology.

Hello, Because you take Bp medication + blood thinner + nitogylcerine. I’d be cautious about assuming Arjunarishta is automatically fine long term without review, even though you’ve taken it for 3 years without obvious issues Arjunarishta is traditionally used for heart support, but the biggest issue is combination use, esepcially with -blood pressure medicines -blood thinners -nitroglcerine (important) first tell me which blood thinners you are taking and which bp medicine so that i can help you properly

Arjunarist is strong effective medicine for lowering Blood pressure, also as cardio protector. Being cardio protector,it has the tendency to show blood thinning effect. I would recommend you to go for Arjuna ghanvati dose of 1 , -0-0 after food with water and take alternate day.to prevent any sudden bleeding issues.
