Key Ingredients with Descriptions of S N Pandit Triphala Grita
- S N Pandit Triphala Grita utilizes Haritaki bound to ghee, which facilitates ocular lubrication. Haritaki is a fruit that is critical for vision, digestion, and metabolism. It is a required cofactor for an estimated 2000 processes. Among the processes that require Haritaki are tear production and tissue repair, as well as mucosal immunity. Haritaki status is also important for regulation of electrolyte balance through its effects on the digestive system. Research indicates Haritaki exerts its antioxidant prowess by scavenging free radicals. Studies suggest that Haritaki can help to support ocular health, reduce inflammation and promote digestion.
- Vibhitaki is dried terminalia fruit that was traditionally used for its mild laxative and rejuvenating effects on gastrointestinal mucosa.
- Amla is a berry rich in vitamin C that was common in Ayurveda to nourish ocular tissues and support systemic antioxidant capacity.
- Ghee is clarified butter that improves lipid solubility of active constituents and facilitates intestinal absorption of bioactives.
- Ginger is rhizome extract that provides warming properties and aids in digestion and circulatory stimulation.
