I am really struggling with my health lately and a friend mentioned giloy juice would be good for me. I've heard a lot about it, like how beneficial it is for immunity and everything, but honestly, I'm not sure how to take giloy juice properly. I tried it once but found the taste kinda bitter and couldn't finish it, you know? I’ve been dealing with constant fatigue and some digestion issues. My doctor recommended some tests, and they came back showing I need to boost my immune system. I read online about how to take giloy juice — like some people mix it with honey or lemon, which sounds better than straight up drinking it! Do you think there’s a best time to take it? And how much should I take daily? I really want to give it a fair shot because I’m hoping it can help. Any tips on how to take giloy juice in a way that actually works? Thanks!

Taking giloy juice can indeed be beneficial for boosting your immunity and addressing issues with fatigue and digestion, aligning well with Ayurvedic principles. Feeding into Ayurvedic wisdom, giloy (Tinospora Cordifolia) is recognized as having the capacity to balance all three doshas - Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, which might be contributing to your health concerns.

You want to start with a small quantity, as around 10 to 15 mL per day is often recommended. Begin your day by taking giloy juice on an empty stomach, which allows your body to absorb its nutrients optimally, essential for its efficacy in boosting your immune response. Over time, you can adjust to about 30 mL if you feel comfortable with it and your digestion seems to improve.

Given the bitter taste, mixing it with one tablespoon of honey or a dash of lemon is a clever way to make it more palatable. Honey also acts as a Yogavahi in Ayurveda, enhancing the action of the giloy without interfering its digestive glunice. Warm water can be used to dilute it, if preferred, making it easier to drink.

For digestion and fatigue, it’s wise to also evaluate your current diet. Favor satwik, freshly cooked foods that are easy to digestive. Eat at regular intervals to avoid straining your agni (digestive fire). Stimulate your agni by consuming fresh ginger tea about half an hour before big meals.

In addition to giloy, practice pranayama or light yoga to elevate energy levels and rejuvenate from fatigue. Consider adding Triphala into your routine to further enhance your digestive health.

Keep in mind if any adverse reactions occur or symptoms worsen, you should consult your healthcare provider promptly. Giloy indeed holds substantial promise, but always ensuring it complements your individual constitution and medication is key to its success.
