I am really worried after hearing about the recent dengue outbreak in my area. Just last week, I went to a family gathering, and one of my relatives mentioned that several neighbors were diagnosed with dengue. I have two young kids and I'm freaking out! We live near a park that has a lot of standing water, and I’ve been seeing more mosquitos lately. I’ve tried using mosquito sprays and keeping the windows closed, but sometimes I just forget. I even bought some citronella candles, but I’m not really sure how long they last or if they even work! I’m looking for some solid advice on how to avoid dengue, especially for my kids. Do you think it's enough to just rely on repellents? Or are there other things I should do? Like, should I be worried about letting them play outside? And what about cleaning up the yard? I heard mosquitos breed near stagnant water but... how do I really know what to look for? Ugh, I just want to keep my family safe. Anyone got tips on how to avoid dengue that actually work?
