Stage of cavity formation Stage 1: Once plaque forms, the tooth’s hard outer surface wears off. Stage 2: After attacking the outer surface, the acid and bacteria make their way to the next layer of the tooth, a softer substance called dentin. Stage 3: Bacteria and plaque continue to dama the tooth. At an advanced stage, the decay starts reach the pulp and root of the tooth.Ayurvedic treatment for tooth cavities: Take a holistic approach According to Ayurveda, ahara-vihar (diet and lifestyle) are important to leading a physically healthy lifestyle and dental health is no exception. The prevention and management of tooth cavities involve a combination of ayurvedic medicine (aushadhi), diet changes (ahar) and lifestyle changes (vihar). Diet (ahar) recommendations: Reduce intake of sugary foods and drinks. Rinse mouth after eating something sweet. • Eat foods that are rich sources of calcium. • Eat plenty of raw vegetables and fruits. Fibrous fruits and vegetables help clean your teeth and increase salivation, which can neutralise the acids left behind in your mouth.Lifestyle (vihar) recommendations) • Maintain good oral hygiene. Besides brushing your teeth twice a day, floss your teeth regularly Gargle with salt water to prevent tooth decay its progression to tooth abscess Avoid smoking and drinking since they contribute to dental problems.Oil Pulling - Oil Pulling makes a place in both prevention as well as remedies as it can help in cases of before and after for tooth prevention and tooth decay. • Garlic, clove, salt or turmeric - When it comes to home remedies, the list is endless. Garlic has this anti- inflammatory properties, clove helps to eliminate pain, and salt and turmeric works as antiseptic to disinfect the area. • Cinnamon oil, Lemon oil, Tea tree oil - Each with anti-inflammatory and anti- bacterial properties helps in alleviating pain and discomfort from the tooth area and helps in preventing gum decay. • Fluoride Toothpaste - By hardening the enamel and promoting layers of enamel, fluoride toothpaste helps in creating a wall which is resistant to acid and bacterias.Treatments for Tooth Decay and Cavities It is equally important to know the Tooth Decay and cavity treatments because when Preventions and Remedies don’t work, the final take is Treatment. • Fluoride Treatment - Fluoride plays a big role when it comes to oral hygiene, may it for prevention, remedies, or treatments. At the early stage of tooth decay, the doctors can suggest Fluoride treatment in form of toothpaste or mouthwash or treatments at clinic. • Filling - The most common treatment is filling the area of hole where cavity is caused. Dentists can drill out the decayed material and fill the hole, either in form of silver amalgam, composite resin, ceramic filling or gold. • Root Canal - If decay are not caught in early stage, and the decay reaches the tooth nerve, root canal is the option

I understand your concern and the situation you are dealing with right now when teeth are almost broken down to the roots and still cannot be removed due to health reasons the main focus is to keep the infection under control and prevent it from spreading even if there is no strong pain mild swelling or a hard pus like lump shows that infection is still active and needs care First thing I would suggest is to improve oral hygiene a bit more brush gently two times a day using a soft brush especially at night After brushing rinse your mouth with warm water mixed with triphala powder half teaspoon in one cup this helps reduce bacteria swelling and bad smell without irritating the gums To control infection from inside you can take Gandhak Rasayan 250 mg twice daily after food with warm water along with Triphala Guggulu one tablet twice daily after meals This helps in reducing pus formation controlling swelling and keeping infection stable till removal becomes possible For local care at night take a small cotton piece dip it in a mix of clove oil and sesame oil and apply gently only on the swollen gum area Do not push it deep inside This helps in controlling bacterial activity and reduces mild swelling naturally Avoid sweets sticky foods cold drinks and frequent snacking Always rinse your mouth after meals Drink warm water through the day and for immunity support you can take Guduchi satva 500 mg once daily in the morning on an empty stomach If swelling suddenly increases pain starts or fever develops then do not delay medical consultation

HELLO, From what you described -you have only 7 teeth left , and most of them are very loose -Two teeth have undergone RCT, but the roots are likely dead -One area has a hard Lump with pus (chronic infection) -there is mild swelling but no severe pain -due to other health issues, tooth extraction is currently not possible In Ayurveda, this condition is mainly related to -Dantamoola roga (disease of tooth roots) -Krimi + pitta + kapha dominance -Asthi dhatu kshaya (weakening of bone tissue) -Chronic infection->dushta vrana (non healing infected area) Because pain is less but swelling and pus are present, this indicates a chronic, deep seated infection, which can remain silent but may flare up if immunity drops TREATMENT GOALS -stop spread of infection -control pus formation -reduce swelling -strengthen gums and remaining teeth -prevent sudden flare ups (abscess, fever, jaw swelling) -improve immunity and healing capacity INTERNAL MEDICATIONS 1) GANDHAK RASAAYANA= 1 tab twice daily after meals with lukewarm water for 8 weeks =stron antibacterial, prevent pus formation, improves chronic oral infections 2) KAISHOR GUGGULU= 2 tabs twice daily after meals for 8 weeks =removes deep seated infection, reduces swelling, helpful in pus forming conditions 3) TRIPHALA GUGGULU= 2 tabs twice daily after meals with warm water for 8 weeks =cleans infected tissue, reduces gum inflammation, prevents worsening of loose teeth 4) GUDUCHI GHAN VATI= 2 tabs once daily in morning empty stomach =improves immunity, prevents spread of infection, reduces chronic inflammation EXTERNAL TREATMENT 1) OIL PULLING- DAILY -Use sesame oil -take 1 tbsp keep in mouth for 5-7 minutes -do NOT gargle hard -Spit and rinse with warm water =reduces bacterial load, strengthen gums, prevents further loosening 2) TRIPHALA DECOCTION MOUTH RINSE -Boil 1 tsp triphala powder in 1 cup water -reduce to half, cool, strain -rinse mouth 2 times daily =natural antiseptic, controls pus, promotes healing 3) CLOVE + TURMERIC PASTE (spot application) -mix= turmeric powder= pinch, clove oil- 1 drop -apply gently on swollen gum once daily =pain control, antibacterial, reduces swelling DO NOT RUB HARD DIET -warm, soft foods -moong dal -vegetable soups -cooked vegetables -turmeric milk at night -amla 1 tsp daily AVOID -sugar, sweets, bakery items -cold drinks -sticky foods -excess tea/coffee -smoking/tobacoo LIFESTYLE AND ORAL CARE CHANGES -brush twice daily (soft brush) -do not brush aggresively -clean tongue daily -avoid chewing from affected side -maintain hydration HOME REMEDIES -warm saline rinse once daily -turmeric + honey 1/2 tsp once daily -neem twig chewing INVESTIGATIONS RECOMMENDED -Dental X-RAY (OPG)= very important Your condition is chronic but manageable Even without pain, infection must be controlled Ayurvedic treatment focuses on stabilizing, drying pus, and preventing flare-ups Regular care can buy time safely until extraction becomes possible Do not ignore swelling even if pain is mild WARNING SIGNS- seek immediate care if -sudden increase in swelling -fever -severe pain -difficulty opening mouth -foul smell increasing rapidly DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU DR. नमस्ते, आपने जो बताया उसके अनुसार -आपके सिर्फ़ 7 दांत बचे हैं, और उनमें से ज़्यादातर बहुत ढीले हैं -दो दांतों का RCT हुआ है, लेकिन जड़ें शायद मर चुकी हैं -एक जगह पर पस के साथ एक सख्त गांठ है (क्रोनिक इन्फेक्शन) -हल्की सूजन है लेकिन ज़्यादा दर्द नहीं है -दूसरी स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं के कारण, अभी दांत निकालना संभव नहीं है आयुर्वेद में, यह स्थिति मुख्य रूप से इनसे संबंधित है -दंतमूल रोग (दांतों की जड़ों की बीमारी) -कृमि + पित्त + कफ की प्रधानता -अस्थि धातु क्षय (हड्डी के ऊतकों का कमजोर होना) -क्रोनिक इन्फेक्शन -> दुष्ट व्रण (ठीक न होने वाला संक्रमित क्षेत्र) क्योंकि दर्द कम है लेकिन सूजन और पस मौजूद है, यह एक क्रोनिक, गहरी जड़ वाला इन्फेक्शन बताता है, जो शांत रह सकता है लेकिन अगर इम्यूनिटी कम हो जाए तो यह बढ़ सकता है इलाज के लक्ष्य -इन्फेक्शन को फैलने से रोकना -पस बनने को कंट्रोल करना -सूजन कम करना -मसूड़ों और बचे हुए दांतों को मजबूत करना -अचानक होने वाले उभार (फोड़ा, बुखार, जबड़े में सूजन) को रोकना -इम्यूनिटी और ठीक होने की क्षमता में सुधार करना अंदरूनी दवाएं 1) गंधक रसायन = 1 गोली दिन में दो बार खाने के बाद गुनगुने पानी के साथ 8 हफ़्ते तक =मजबूत एंटीबैक्टीरियल, पस बनने से रोकता है, मुंह के क्रोनिक इन्फेक्शन में सुधार करता है 2) कैशोर गुग्गुलु = 2 गोलियां दिन में दो बार खाने के बाद 8 हफ़्ते तक =गहरे इन्फेक्शन को हटाता है, सूजन कम करता है, पस बनने वाली स्थितियों में मददगार है 3) त्रिफला गुग्गुलु = 2 गोलियां दिन में दो बार खाने के बाद गर्म पानी के साथ 8 हफ़्ते तक =संक्रमित ऊतकों को साफ करता है, मसूड़ों की सूजन कम करता है, ढीले दांतों की स्थिति को बिगड़ने से रोकता है 4) गुडुची घन वटी = 2 गोलियां दिन में एक बार सुबह खाली पेट =इम्यूनिटी में सुधार करता है, इन्फेक्शन को फैलने से रोकता है, क्रोनिक सूजन कम करता है बाहरी इलाज 1) ऑयल पुलिंग - रोज़ाना -तिल का तेल इस्तेमाल करें -1 बड़ा चम्मच मुंह में लेकर 5-7 मिनट तक रखें -ज़ोर से गरारे न करें -थूक दें और गर्म पानी से कुल्ला करें =बैक्टीरियल लोड कम करता है, मसूड़ों को मजबूत करता है, आगे ढीला होने से रोकता है 2) त्रिफला काढ़ा माउथ रिंस -1 कप पानी में 1 चम्मच त्रिफला पाउडर उबालें -आधा होने तक उबालें, ठंडा करें, छान लें -दिन में 2 बार मुंह धोएं रोजाना =प्राकृतिक एंटीसेप्टिक, मवाद को कंट्रोल करता है, घाव भरने में मदद करता है 3) लौंग + हल्दी का पेस्ट (सिर्फ प्रभावित जगह पर लगाएं) -मिलाएं = हल्दी पाउडर = चुटकी भर, लौंग का तेल - 1 बूंद -सूजे हुए मसूड़े पर दिन में एक बार धीरे से लगाएं =दर्द कंट्रोल, एंटीबैक्टीरियल, सूजन कम करता है ज़ोर से न रगड़ें आहार -गर्म, नरम खाना -मूंग दाल -सब्जियों का सूप -पकी हुई सब्जियां -रात में हल्दी वाला दूध -आंवला 1 चम्मच रोजाना इनसे बचें -चीनी, मिठाइयाँ, बेकरी की चीजें -ठंडे पेय -चिपचिपा खाना -ज़्यादा चाय/कॉफी -धूम्रपान/तंबाकू जीवनशैली और मुंह की देखभाल में बदलाव -दिन में दो बार ब्रश करें (नरम ब्रश) -ज़ोर से ब्रश न करें -रोजाना जीभ साफ करें -प्रभावित तरफ से चबाने से बचें -शरीर में पानी की कमी न होने दें घरेलू उपचार -दिन में एक बार गर्म नमक के पानी से कुल्ला करें -हल्दी + शहद 1/2 चम्मच दिन में एक बार -नीम की टहनी चबाना सुझाए गए टेस्ट -डेंटल एक्स-रे (OPG) = बहुत ज़रूरी आपकी स्थिति पुरानी है लेकिन इसे मैनेज किया जा सकता है दर्द न होने पर भी, इन्फेक्शन को कंट्रोल करना ज़रूरी है आयुर्वेदिक इलाज का फोकस स्थिति को स्थिर करने, मवाद को सुखाने और दोबारा होने से रोकने पर है नियमित देखभाल से तब तक सुरक्षित रूप से समय मिल सकता है जब तक दांत निकालना संभव न हो जाए अगर दर्द हल्का भी हो तो भी सूजन को नज़रअंदाज़ न करें खतरे के संकेत - अगर ये हों तो तुरंत डॉक्टर से मिलें -सूजन में अचानक वृद्धि -बुखार -तेज़ दर्द -मुंह खोलने में कठिनाई -तेज़ी से बढ़ती दुर्गंध ज़रूर पालन करें उम्मीद है यह मददगार होगा धन्यवाद डॉ. मैत्री आचार्य

✓Medicines (start today – 30–60 days) Triphala Churna – 3–5 gm night with warm water Jatyadi Ghrita – apply very small amount on gums & around loose teeth 2–3 times daily after brushing Kaishore Guggulu – 1 tablet twice daily after food Gandhak Rasayan – 125–250 mg twice daily after food with water ✓Daily Oral Care (most important – upgrade your routine) Brush twice daily (soft brush + herbal paste like Vicco/Dabur Red/Neem) Warm salt water gargle – 1 tsp rock salt in 1 glass warm water → 4–5 times daily (reduces pus & swelling fast) Oil pulling – 5–10 min morning with warm coconut oil or sesame oil (pulls toxins, reduces bacteria) Tongue cleaning daily with scraper No hard food on loose teeth (soft diet only) ✓Diet (strict 4–6 weeks) Soft & warm: moong khichdi + ghee, mashed banana, pomegranate, boiled apple/pear, thin rice kanji Avoid completely: hard/crunchy food, spicy/sour, cold drinks, sugar, sticky sweets ✓7 loose teeth + pus lump + dead roots = high risk of abscess / sepsis even without severe pain. See dentist/endodontist urgently (this week) – X-ray needed to check bone loss & infection spread. Extraction may become unavoidable if infection increases (health risks of keeping infected roots are higher than extraction in many cases). Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma
