How to soothe wisdom tooth pain and discomfort during sleepless nights? - #56141
As I am getting wisdom tooth and tissues beside it is very pain ful. Please suggest me some remedy or medicine so I can soothe the pain. As I am facing too much of discomfort due to it with sleepless nights.

1. Immediate Local Applications (Sthaniya Chikitsa) ••Pratisarana (Local Application): Mix a pinch of finely powdered Saindhava Lavana (Rock salt) with a few drops of Erimedadi Taila or lukewarm Tila Taila (Sesame oil) and gently apply it to the painful gum tissue using a clean finger or cotton swab. Gandusha & Kaval (Therapeutic Retaining/Gargling): ••Erimedadi Taila Gandusha: This is the drug of choice for dental issues in Ayurveda. Hold 10–15 ml of lukewarm Erimedadi Taila in your mouth without moving it for 3 to 5 minutes, then spit it out. It significantly reduces Vataja pain and strengthens the periodontal tissues. ••Dashamoola Kwatha Kaval: If the swelling is dominant, prepare a decoction of Dashamoola or Triphala, add a pinch of turmeric (Haridra), and use it for warm rinsing 3–4 times a day. ••Kavalika (Medicated Cotton Plug): Soak a small, sterile cotton ball in Erimedadi Taila mixed with a drop of Clove oil (Lavanga Taila) and place it directly over the erupting tooth. Keep it there for 15–20 minutes to numb the local nerve endings. ••Pain & Inflammation Trayodashanga Guggulu OR Lakshadi Guggulu 2 tablets twice a day (after meals with warm water) Guggulu formulations are excellent Vata-Hara and Shoolahara (analgesic), targeting bone and deep tissue pain. ••Acute Neuralgic Pain Maha Vata Vidhwansan Ras 1 tablet (125 mg) twice a day A potent herbo-mineral formulation that rapidly pacifies severe neuralgic Vata pain. (Take under professional supervision). ••Healing & Immunity Septilin (Himalaya) OR Gandhak Rasayan 2 tablets (Septilin) / 1 tablet (Gandhak Rasayan) twice a day Acts as a natural anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial to prevent pericoronitis (infection of the gum flap). Diet and Lifestyle Modifications (Ahara-Vihara) ••Diet: Strictly consume a soft, liquid, or semi-solid diet (Manda, Peya, or Yush) that is lukewarm. Avoid very hot, spicy, sour, or hard foods that require heavy mastication, as they will further irritate the Alveolar mucosa. ••Sleep Support: To help with the sleepless nights, take a cup of warm milk infused with a pinch of Nutmeg (Jaiphal) and Turmeric (Haridra) 30 minutes before bedtime. Nutmeg acts as a natural sedative (Nidrajanana) and pacifies Vata.
