Managing H. Pylori Infection and Related Health Issues - #46802
My husband 42yr old has got H pylori test positive, and suffering from constant abdomen pain. He is on 14 day antibiotics dose for that. In addition to that he has recently got high cholesterol , above normal blood pressure and borderline Fasting glucose. Wanted to know what can be done tocure above concerns especially stomach infection due to H pylori. He has work pressure and personal life stress going on from long time leading to anxiety and panic attacks and high functioning depression. What needs to be taken care in terms of diet and routine for overall symptoms.

Your husband condition shows that the stomach infection stress metabolism and heart health are all connected and need to be handled together gently and patiently The antibiotics will help reduce the infection load but the stomach lining and digestion need healing support during and after the course otherwise pain acidity bloating and weakness can continue
For the stomach infection and abdominal pain Amla powder half teaspoon twice daily with warm water after food
Mulethi powder one fourth teaspoon twice daily mixed in warm water before food
Aloe vera juice twenty ml twice daily on empty stomach
Avipattikara churna half teaspoon twice daily before meals
For cholesterol blood pressure and sugar balance
Garlic two small raw cloves soaked overnight and taken in the morning
Fenugreek seeds one teaspoon soaked overnight and taken in the morning with water Triphala guggulu 1 tablet twice daily after food
For anxiety panic attacks and mental exhaustion Ashwagandha root powder one teaspoon at night with warm milk Medha vati 1 tablet twice daily after food with warm water
Avoid fried food ,sugar ,bakery items ,packaged food ,soft drinks coffee ,alcohol , spicy food and late night eating Avoid eating in stress or while working Prefer warm freshly cooked simple food Rice or millet soft cooked vegetables bottle gourd pumpkin carrot ridge gourd
Homemade curd in small quantity at lunch Pomegranate ,apple ,papaya in moderation Use cow ghee daily
Wake up early and sleep before eleven Eat meals at fixed times Walk for thirty minutes daily after dinner Practice slow deep breathing for ten minutes morning and night Reduce screen time at night
Healing will not be instant but with three to six weeks of consistent diet routine and herbal support pain, anxiety ,cholesterol ,sugar and pressure will start settling together
Thanks doctor for the detailed response. Wanted to check about ashwagandha taken with milk, can he take with any plant based milk as he is told to avoid dairy.
Also for the fenugreek seeds soaked in water overnight does only it’s water needs to be consumed or seeds with water needs to be consumed next day.
It should be taken warm so plant based you cannot heat , so better take with warm water R just with 50 ml warm milk he can take Soaked methi seeds to be chewed n then drink that water
Thanks. Also about millets, which millets can be taken like polished or unpolished and how to prepare them. Do they need to be overnight soaked or can be pressure cooked on the same day. Also do they need to be consumed fermented or can be consumed as Khichdi or porridge.
