Yes, headache with heaviness around the forehead and above the eyes after taking sugarcane juice can happen in some people. In Ayurveda, sugarcane juice is cooling and Kapha-increasing, so if you already have a tendency for sinus congestion, cold, weak digestion, or Kapha imbalance, it may trigger a sinus-type headache. For now, it is better to stop the juice for 3–5 days and observe. Avoid taking it cold or on an empty stomach. You can try these simple Ayurvedic measures: Drink warm water throughout the day Take a pinch of dry ginger powder (Sunthi) with honey once or twice daily Inhale mild steam with ajwain or eucalyptus for sinus relief Avoid curd, cold drinks, refrigerated foods, and daytime sleep As a substitute, you may take: Warm jeera-coriander-fennel water Thin amla juice Fresh coconut water in small quantity if it suits you

1.Immediate Dosha-Pacifying Measures ••Pause the Juice: Stop consuming the She Care Juice immediately for 2 to 3 days to allow the aggravated doshas to settle. ••Neutralize the Ushna Guna (Heat): Drink a cup of lukewarm water mixed with 1 teaspoon of Mishri (rock sugar) and ½ teaspoon of Gau Ghrita (pure cow’s ghee). Ghee is the best Pitta-shamaka and helps soothe the cranial nerves. ••Sip Coriander Seed Water: Boil 1 teaspoon of Dhaniya (coriander) seeds in a glass of water, cool it to room temperature, strain, and sip it throughout the day. Coriander is highly effective at clearing excess Pitta and cooling the system. 2.Pratimarsha Nasya: Put 2 drops of lukewarm Anu Taila or plain Cow’s Ghee into each nostril. Nasya is the premier route for addressing Urordhvajatruga (above the clavicle) disorders like Shirashoola. If you and your consulting physician decide to restart the juice later for its primary indications (like PCOD or cycle regulation), the method of intake must be altered to prevent a recurrence: ••Never Take It Empty Stomach: Switch the dosage to 15–30 minutes after a meal. ••Dilution Ratio: Dilute the 30 ml of juice with an equal or slightly higher amount of lukewarm water to reduce its Teekshnata (intensity). ••Anupana Modification: If Pitta sensitivity remains high, the juice can sometimes be advised with a small amount of Mishri or followed by a sip of milk.
This might be a sensitivity reaction to the juice … Do not continue if headache is persistent after every dose
This can happen if sugarcane juice is not suiting your body or if it is triggering sinus congestion/cold response. Forehead and pain above the eyes usually suggest sinus or Kapha aggravation rather than a serious side effect. For now, stop sugarcane juice for a few days and observe. Avoid cold drinks, refrigerated foods, and excess sweets. Drink warm water and do mild steam inhalation. Sitopaladi churna – 1 teaspoon with honey twice daily Godanti bhasma – 1 tablet twice daily after food You can switch to warm herbal drinks or fresh pomegranate juice instead of sugarcane juice.
