Dr. Manaswini Gottimukkala
Experience: | 5 years |
Education: | Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Bangalore |
Academic degree: | Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery |
Area of specialization: | I am someone who kinda naturally leaned into Kaya Chikitsa right from the early days of practice—it just felt like the core of real medicine, ya knw? My main work revolves around internal healing through Ayurved, mostly dealing with metabolic things like diabetis, obesity, sluggish digestion stuff... even those long-standing gut issues like IBS, hyperacidity or just that unexplainable bloating ppl live with. I also see skin troubles (eczema, rashes, infections), and a fair bit of respiratory stuff—like asthma and those seasonal bronchitis flares that won’t quit.
My go-to for understanding the case is mostly Nadi Pariksha—I really trust what the pulse says before anything else. Then I mix in tailormade herbal formulations, diet tweaks (which matter so much btw), and when needed, do Panchakarma. Not like for show—but when toxins genuinely block recovery, it helps a lot. No blind detoxing here though, I match everything with the person’s prakriti. I don’t treat symptoms in isolation, that just delays the actual fix. My whole point is: let’s find why the imbalance is even happening and change that.
I also like giving people the tools to keep their system from crashing again—like explain clearly, keep it real simple, what they can watch in food, sleep or even daily habits. Ayurveda is way more than herbs... it's literally about how you live every day, and I try to pass that idea to every patient who’s open to it. |
Achievements: | I am someone who kinda always saw Ayurveda as more than just herbs & oils, which is probably why I ended up diving into stuff like Public Health & Nutrition for my Master's... and also went for a Postgrad diploma in Bioinformatics (honestly didn’t expect it to click so well with Ayurved, but it did). These two degrees really shifted how I plan treatments now—I look at patient data diff, connect dots better, and build plans that mix nutrition, metabolism & traditional protocols with way more clarity than before. |
I am an Ayurvedic doctor trying my best to keep care real, grounded & genuinely helpful—ya know, not just follow some textbook protocol and move on. I’m currently working as an Ayurveda Medical Officer at a Govt hospital, which honestly gives me daily chances to meet people with all kinds of health issues. Digestive flareups, chronic joint pains, tough skin cases, weird lifestyle problems that don't always fit neat diagnosis boxes... I see ‘em all. And yeah, it keeps me on my toes. I focus big-time on identifying the root of the issue—not just patching symptoms. That’s kinda the soul of Ayurveda, right? I really dig into prakriti-vikriti assessments. Like, what's this person's baseline? What knocked it off? Whether it’s diet gone wrong, emotional stress, seasonal influence or just body going out of sync over years—I try to catch that. And then design stuff that fits them specifically. Not just some ‘one herb fits all’ thing. Mostly I lean on herbs, food corrections, small daily shifts... and yeah, Panchakarma too when needed, but only if it really suits the case. What I like most is when people start feeling seen. I do try to listen more than I talk—get their whole picture, not just what hurts. Explaining in plain language is super important to me. No one should leave confused or scared. I guess you can call that a counseling angle too? Maybe. Either way I want ppl to feel this is their journey, not just mine prescribing stuff. Ayurveda for me isn’t just a profession, it’s literally a way of seeing life and healing. I’m not against meds where needed, but I really do believe most healing starts before meds—starts with habits, mindset, food, even timing. My mission? Making Ayurvedic wisdom feel simple, practical, doable—even in a world that’s moving way too fast most of the time. If you're looking for someone who won’t just hand you a churnaa and hope for the best—someone who’ll try to understand where you’re really stuck and how to pull you gently out of it—then maybe we can work together. Would be glad to help you find some balance back.
