Posex Forte Capsule is used for Capillary bleeding, Blood-stained mucus, Secondary bleeding due to thrombocytopenia, Hypocoagulation, Blood in the urine, Excessive blood loss during periods in women, Neonatal intraventricular haemorrhage, Melena, Hematuria, Epistaxis and other conditions. 
Posex Forte Capsule contains Ethamsylate as an active ingredient.
Posex Forte Capsule works by improving platelet adhesiveness and restoring capillary resistance.

Posex Forte Capsule is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
Capillary bleeding

Secondary bleeding due to thrombocytopenia

Posex Forte Capsule Side-effects:
The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Posex Forte Capsule. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Allergic rejection
Nausea

Composition and Active Ingredients:
Posex Forte Capsule is composed of the following active ingredients (salts)
Ethamsylate
DOSAGE:
2 capsules thrice a day or 2 capsules every two hourly, up to a maximum of 12 capsules in 24 hours, till bleeding stops.
Pre-operative:  2  capsules  thrice  a  day  commencing  two  days  prior  to  operation/ procedure, and continuing for further three days after the operation/procedure is over.
DO'S AND DON'TS:
Do's
1) Get medical attention immediately in case of any kind of bleeding
2) Apply a gentle pressure, to immediately stop the oozing of blood
Don'ts
1) Do not get agitated or panic stricken. Most cases of bleeding can be well controlled by a doctor.
2) Avoid using unsterile material while stopping the bleeding
3) Do not introduce any sticks, or any other objects to arrest bleeding
