Hello, According to Ayurveda, premature balding (Khalitya) is often attributed to an imbalance of the Pitta dosha, where excess heat in the body “burns” the hair follicles. Treatment focuses on cooling the scalp and nourishing the roots. Hair health is considered a byproduct of bone tissue (Asthi Dhatu) and is influenced by the quality of your digestion and blood circulation. To manage hair loss at 23, the goal is to pacify Pitta and improve scalp nutrient absorption. Medicines : 1. Ksheerabala Tailam (Oil) Action: A cooling oil processed with cow’s milk and Sida cordifolia to reduce scalp heat and strengthen hair shafts. Dose: Gently massage 10–15 ml onto the scalp 30 minutes before bathing, at least 3 times a week. 2. Neelibringadi Keratailam (Oil) Action: Specifically formulated for hair growth and preventing premature greying using Neeli (Indigo) and Bringaraja. Dose: Apply daily to the scalp or at least 3 hours before washing your hair. 3. Narasimha Rasayanam (Internal Paste) Action: A medicated butter-based jam that acts as a powerful “Rasayana” (rejuvenative) for hair and immunity. Dose: 1 teaspoon (5–10g) twice daily after food, followed by a cup of warm milk or water. 4. Kesini Oil Action: A proprietary Kerala Ayurveda oil that targets dandruff and scalp infections which can exacerbate balding. Dose: Apply a small amount to the scalp daily as a hair tonic. Never use very hot water on the head, as it increases Pitta and weakens hair roots. Applying 2 drops of Anu Tailam in each nostril daily can help improve hair health by stimulating the “Shringataka Marma” (vital points in the head).
The symptom which your son is experienceing is due to imbalance of Pitta and vata dosha which are also responsible for premature hair loss
