It sounds like your acne may indeed be related to hormonal imbalances, which can disrupt the natural flow of Pitta in the body, leading to inflammation and clogged pores. Since you’ve been using Ayurvedic medicine without significant results, I recommend reviewing the treatment to ensure it addresses the root cause of your imbalance. Consider adding herbs like Shatavari or Ashwagandha to regulate hormones, and Turmeric and Neem for their anti-inflammatory and detoxifying properties. You might also benefit from a Pitta-pacifying diet, focusing on cooling, anti-inflammatory foods like cucumbers, coconut, and leafy greens. Drinking herbal teas with Tulsi and Chamomile can help calm internal heat. Additionally, daily oil massage with sesame or coconut oil for your skin, along with a gentle, natural cleanser, can support your skin’s healing process. If the acne persists, it’s important to consult an Ayurvedic doctor for a tailored approach based on your specific body constitution.

Ahh, hormonal acne, a bit tricky, gotta say. When Ayurveda looks at acne, we’re diving into dosha land, mainly focusing on Pitta dosha since it’s connected to inflammation and excess heat, which might be flaring those breakouts.

First up, let’s consider your diet and lifestyle cause they can totally influence Pitta. Avoid spicy, oily, and sour foods. They can heat up your system. Instead, think cool, sweet, and astringent foods like cucumbers, watermelon, and green leafy veggies.

Drinking some neem water can help too – it’s fantastic at detoxifying. Just boil some neem leaves in water, let it cool, and drink this morning and evening. Trust me, neem’s a game-changer. Tricky to taste, but worth it… a little bit bitterness is sometimes the medicine we need.

Check your routines too. Are you sleeping on time? Late nights can whack out the body’s rhythms and crank up Pitta - you need rest. Oh, and stress can also be a culprit; bit ironic, I know, stressing about stress. Try meditating or some pranayama… it cools that internal fire we don’t even see.

Use a face pack with sandalwood and turmeric a couple of times a week. Just mix with a bit of rose water, apply, wait till it dries, and wash off. It cools and soothes that inflamed skin. Sandalwood’s like a hug for Pitta – calming.

But hey, if you’re using Ayurvedic medicines all this while with zero results, have a chat with your practitioner. Maybe the formula needs tweaking, maybe Pitta-dominant herbs aren’t quite right, who knows? A second opinion won’t hurt.

When hormones are in play, patience is a virtue too. But let’s get to that root cause and balance those doshas. If it’s still persisting, do see a dermatologist, more info might reveal what’s going on underneath!
