Your concerns point to an imbalance that may involve pitta dosha, especially with the anger issues, excessive gray hair, and possibly some variations of kapha due to the weight gain. Addressing both doshas might help restore balance.
For the acne and pimple marks: It’s beneficial to cleanse the skin with natural ingredients. You can make a paste using turmeric and sandalwood powder mixed with rose water. Apply this paste to affected areas and leave it for about 20 minutes before washing off. Try doing this 3 times a week. Turmeric helps reduce inflammation, while sandalwood can soothe the skin.
Your grey hair can be linked to excess pitta and stress. Start by applying amla (Indian gooseberry) oil to your scalp at least twice a week. Doing so can help nourish hair roots and potentially halt or even reverse premature greying. Boil some dry amla pieces in coconut oil instead of using store-bought oil for a more natural approach.
Anger issues stemming from pitta can be calmed through meditation and yoga. Incorporate cooling pranayama, like sheetali or shitali breathing, for 10 minutes a day. Sipping on a small glass of fresh aloe vera juice every morning could also help to cool down pitta.
Regarding weight gain, enhancing your digestive fire (agni) is key. Sip warm water throughout the day instead of cold, and ghee in your meals can stimulate digestion. Avoid late-night heavy meals and include spices like cumin, black pepper, and ginger to keep metabolism on track.
Avoid processed foods and excess sugar, which elevate kapha and contribute to weight gain. Eat light dinners, and ensure a balance of all 6 tastes (sweet, sour, salty, bitter, astringent and pungent) in your meals. Include raw salad or lightly steamed vegetables for fiber, and opt for whole grains over refined carbs.
If your anger issues or other symptoms are interfering with daily life, it might also be beneficial to seek guidance from a trained Ayurvedic practitioner and possibly some behavioral therapy.
