Often, excess hair fall is linked to an imbalance in Pitta dosha, which governs metabolism and digestion. To address this, you’ll want to incorporate practices that pacify Pitta.

First, focus on your diet. Consume foods that are cooling and nourishing such as cucumbers, sweet fruits like pears and apples, and dairy products like ghee and milk. Avoid spicy, fried, and junk foods as they can exacerbate Pitta. Emphasize on hydrating yourself properly; drink plenty of water to keep your body cool and flush out toxins.

Next, let’s talk about scalp care. Applying Brahmi or Bhringraj oil to the scalp can be highly beneficial. Warm the oil slightly and massage your scalp gently with your fingertips before washing it off. Do this 2-3 times weekly before bedtime. For cleansing, use a mild, herbal shampoo and avoid hot water as it may damage the hair shafts.

Incorporate herbs like Amla, known for its high vitamin C content, which strengthens hair roots. Taking Triphala at night might support digestion, indirectly aiding Pitta balance and by extension, reducing hair fall.

Remember, stress can aggravate hair loss. Regular yoga or meditation may help calm your mind. Try practicing Shavasana or Pranayama for at least 10 minutes daily to reduce stress and support overall hair health.
