When considering the mysterious black spots on your vest without visible changes to your skin, it’s important to approach this with an open mind and a willingness to explore all possibilities. In Ayurveda, such issues can sometimes reveal imbalances that shuk subtle signs rather than obvious symptoms.

Firstly, check for excessive sweating or coloration in your perspiration, which may react with clothing fabrics to leave marks. It could suggest underlying issues—whether metabolic, like high body heat, or a localized dhatu imbalance. This observation might indicate a need to pacify Pitta dosha, as Pitta governs heat and bile.

Experiment with your diet and lifestyle. Reduce Pitta-aggravating foods: spicy, sour, and excessively salty items. Incorporate more Pitta-pacifying foods into your diet, like sweet, bitter, and astringent flavors. Drink cooling herbal teas such as peppermint or coriander seeds boiled in water. This helps in cooling down any excess heat.

Adjust your daily routines. Regularly practice yoga and Pranayama to develop balance and regulate the body’s energy. Cooling pranayama techniques like shitali and sheetkari could helps calm and soothe.

Clothing and hygiene practices might need reconsideration. Wear loose, breathable, and natural fiber materials. It’s crucial to allow the skin to breathe and reduce friction. When washing clothing, ensure that mild, non-reactive soaps are used.

Observe your skin when exposed to different environments; sometimes external factors like pollution or chemicals in water could cause reactions without visible skin alterations.

Ultimately, if there is no improvement, further consultation with a dermatologist could help. They might conduct tests such as sweat chloride tests or perform a series of cultural investigations to rule out less common conditions.

It’s essential that any persistent unexplained condition be monitored more closely, thus seeking a dermatologist’s or integrated practitioner’s insight could provide a more specific diagnosis.

Thanks so much for clarifying this! I had no idea mixing meds could be risky. I'll stick to my doctor's meds and look into Ayurveda separately.
