Hair fall and scalp issues like itching and dandruff often relate to an imbalance in the Pitta dosha, especially with the symptoms worsening in summer. Summer heat can exacerbate these conditions, affecting your scalp health and hair thickness. Your observation of the seasonal change and how it affects your hair is quite significant.

While Bhringraj oil and Amla (Awla), Reetha, Shikakai water are beneficial, their efficiency can sometimes vary seasonally or with different scalp conditions. Since these worked during the winter, considering alternate approaches for summer may be helpful. Ensuring these remedies are prepared fresh and used consistently could improve outcomes. Reetha and Shikakai can sometimes strip oils more than needed in summer, adjust the concentration if needed to be milder.

Given you’re considering Indukanth Ghrit and Narasimha Rasayana, let’s freeze here. Both nourish the body but cater to different primary concerns. Indukanth Ghrit is primarily great for balancing Vata and Pitta, it can aid in improving overall digestion and immunity, indirectly aiding hair health too. Narasimha Rasayana, on the other hand, focuses directly more on improving hair and skin quality, known for its revitalizing properties.

As for usage, starting Narasimha Rasayana can be more applicable for your situation due to its direct impact on hair health. Take 1 to 2 teaspoons daily with warm milk in the morning. Observe any changes over a few weeks.

For topical care, you might want to try adding Neem oil or neem leaves paste owing to its anti-bacterial properties, directly on the scalp balancing excess Pitta.

Managing stress and ensuring adequate hydration also form a crucial part of the strategy reinforcing hair health. Keep your diet light and cooling, incorporate foods like cucumber, coconut water, or fennel seeds.

Finally, ensure not to overdo any single remedy; always observe how your body responds, and adjust accordingly. If severe symptoms persist or worsen, seeking a consult from a healthcare provider is prudent.

Hair fall and thinning is often linked to an imbalance in your doshas, often an excess of pitta, leading to heating conditions such as an itchy scalp with dandruff. Although bhringraj oil and amla-reetha-shikakai are beneficial, these might need to be complemented with other approaches as your body responds to seasonal changes like summer heat.

It’s crucial to address the dosha imbalance that might be affecting your hair health. Pitta tends to increase during summer, potentially aggravating an itchy scalp and hair fall. Avoiding hot, spicy, and acidic foods could help minimize heat in your system. Instead, focus on a diet that includes cooling foods such as cucumber, watermelon, and leafy greens. Hydration is paramount, so drink plenty of water and herbal teas to help soothe your internal systems.

Regarding Indukantaghrit and Narasimha Rasayan, these formulations can be supportive, but they need to be taken with consideration of your current health condition. Indukantaghrit is generally used for enhancing digestive fire and strength, whereas Narasimha Rasayan is often for rejuvenation and nourishment. It’s advisable to consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner to ensure these align with your individual prakriti and current symptoms.

For topical care, you can try Aloe Vera gel or a neem-based oil to calm the scalp. Avoid washing hair with hot water, as it can exacerbate dryness and sensitivity. Also, practice stress management techniques like yoga or meditation, as stress can contribute to hair fall.

If your symptoms persist or worsen, seeking immediate medical attention is crucial to rule out any underlying health conditions that may require prompt care.

Thanks so much for clarifying this! I had no idea mixing meds could be risky. I'll stick to my doctor's meds and look into Ayurveda separately.
