I am really curious about what does hair serum do, like, I just started using one because my hair felt so brittle and dry after all those months of styling and coloring. Honestly, I was hesitant at first, thinking I’d just be adding more gunk to my hair, you know? But my friend told me it could help! She said it helps to hydrate and protect, but like, I’m not sure I fully get how it works. I read somewhere that it can also help with frizz, which I totally struggle with. My hair tends to go wild if there's even a hint of humidity! I kinda feel like I’m playing a guessing game here. Also, my scalp is on the oily side, so I worry if using a serum will just make everything worse. How much should I be applying? Is it supposed to be used on damp hair or can it go on dry too? And does it make sense to use the serum every day? I mean, if it really helps, I’d love to know what does hair serum do to keep my hair looking healthy because right now, I feel like I’m in a bit of a mess.
