डॉक्टरों की प्रतिक्रियाएं

Experiencing swelling and bloating after meals can hint at an underlying imbalance in your digestive system, something Ayurveda addresses deeply through understanding agni, or digestive fire. The sensation of bloating without the passage of gas suggests an issue with your Vata dosha, specifically in the samana vayu, which governs digestion and assimilation.

Focus on improving your agni. A simple yet effective method is incorporating dry ginger powder in your diet, known for its digestive-enhancing properties. Try taking ¼ teaspoon of dry ginger powder mixed in warm water before your meals, as its heating quality may stimulate digestion.

It’s also vital to observe how you eat. Ayurveda emphasizes mindful eating. Avoiding rushing through meals, take time to chew food properly, as this helps in proper digestion and reduces bloating. Ensure not to consume cold or icy drinks with your meals as they can dampen digestive fire. Opt for warm water or herbal teas, such as peppermint or fennel tea, which may soothe your stomach and relieve bloating.

Since you’ve had a hysterectomy, maintaining balanced meals is more crucial. Favor simple, warm, well-cooked meals that are easy on the stomach. Include cooked vegetables like courgettes or bottle gourd and basmati rice, as they are gentle on the system.

Limit raw vegetables, heavy foods, and excessive legumes like beans during this period as they may worsen the bloating. Also, avoid fermented items and excess dairy, which can contribute to the issue.

Practice apanasana (knees-to-chest pose) daily for few minutes, a gentle yoga practice beneficial in relieving gas and bloating. However, if the swelling and bloating persists or intensifies, it is imperative to consult a healthcare professional to rule out any serious underlying conditions and receive tailored medical advice.
