मैं 46 साल की महिला हूँ, दो बच्चों की सिंगल पैरेंट हूँ और एक गारमेंट फैक्ट्री चलाती हूँ। मेरा बीपी 140/90 है। मेरे एलोपैथी डॉक्टर ने कुछ दवाइयाँ लिखी हैं, लेकिन मैं उन्हें नहीं ले रही हूँ। पिछले 6 महीनों से मेरी मासिक धर्म चक्र अनियमित है। मेरे शरीर में मुख्य रूप से वात और पित्त का प्रभाव है। पिछले 10 दिनों से मुझे सिर के पीछे भयंकर सिरदर्द हो रहा है, दोनों नाक बंद हैं, गले में जलन है और सांस लेने में भी दिक्कत हो रही है। कृपया डॉक्टर कुछ आयुर्वेदिक दवा सुझाएँ और लिखें। पहले से धन्यवाद 🙏 देवकी

For your symptoms, it’s important to address both the headaches and the irregular menstrual cycle while keeping your Pitta-Vata constitution in mind. Given your current blood pressure and symptoms, seeking immediate medical attention may be a priority, especially if breathing becomes severely difficult. However, here is some Ayurvedic guidance that might offer relief.

The headaches, blocked nostrils, and throat irritation suggest an imbalance related to both vata and pitta doshas. For headaches, Shirodhara treatment, where warm oil is poured on your forehead, can be calming. However, since you might not immediately have access to professional therapies, consider trying Nasyam at home (nose drops oil therapy): Anu Thailam is recommended – put a few drops in each nostril once in the morning, this can help clear nasal passages and reduce headache frequency.

Next, diet plays a crucial role. Focus on Vata-Pitta pacifying foods like warm, cooked dishes with spices like turmeric and cumin. Avoid excessively spicy, oily, or cold foods as they can aggravate digestive fire and dosha imbalance. Drink warm ginger tea, or herbal teas with ingredients like fennel and coriander, which can help with throat irritation and digestion.

For irregular cycles, Ashoka (Saraca indica) is quite effective. Drinking Ashoka tree bark decoction daily can aid in balancing menstrual flow. Timing your meals regularly and eating a grounding breakfast is important to counteract vata influence.

Engage in a daily self-abhyanga (oil massage). Use warm sesame oil, which is grounding for Vata and calming for Pitta. Do this before a warm bath in the morning to soothe your nervous system.

Since it’s critical to monitor your blood pressure, periodically check it. If symptoms persist or worsen, consider coordinating with your healthcare provider.
