It seems you are experiencing a condition known as Alopecia Areata, where hair falls out in small, round patches. This can occur due to imbalances in the body’s immune system, often linked to stress or Pitta dosha imbalance in Ayurveda.

Ayurvedic Approach: Herbal Remedies:

Bhringraj Oil: Known for its ability to rejuvenate hair follicles, it helps in promoting hair regrowth. Amla: Amla powder or oil is effective for strengthening hair roots and preventing further hair loss. Ashwagandha: This adaptogen helps manage stress, which can be a significant factor in alopecia. Neem Oil: If there’s any scalp inflammation or infection, neem oil has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Diet and Lifestyle:

Pitta-balancing foods: Avoid spicy, sour, and oily foods that aggravate Pitta. Opt for cooling, calming foods such as cucumbers, leafy greens, and coconut. Manage stress: Engage in calming practices like yoga, meditation, or breathing exercises (Pranayama) to balance your mind and reduce stress. Topical Applications:

A mixture of Brahmi and Amla oil can be massaged into the scalp to stimulate hair growth and strengthen the roots. Panchakarma (Detox):

If you’re open to it, undergoing a Pitta-pacifying Panchakarma therapy (like Shirodhara) can be beneficial in balancing the doshas and rejuvenating the scalp. Suggested Course: Internal: Take Bhringraj or Amla powder daily to nourish your hair from within. External: Apply Bhringraj oil or Neem oil to the affected area regularly. It is important to follow these treatments consistently, and results may take a few weeks to months. If the condition persists, it may be helpful to consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner who can provide a tailored treatment plan

Seeing a coin-sized patch in your hair could be worrying, but don’t stress too much. It sounds like you might be dealing with a condition known as alopecia areata, where hair loss occurs in small patches. Let’s look at this through Ayurveda - it often relates to a imbalance in the doshas, more so Vata and Pitta.

First thing, consider you diet. Promote foods that pacify Vata and Pitta - so focus on warm meals, think of grains like rice and oats, veggies like sweet potatoes and squash, and healthy fats like ghee or almond oil. Avoid spicy, fried junk food, and excessive caffeine, which could further aggrevate the condition.

Herb-wise, bring in some bhringraj, is known as the “king of hair,” it helps promote hair growth. You can make a paste with it and apply gently to affected area, maybe leave it for 30 minutes before a gentle wash. A dash of coconut oil can be mixed with this too.

Include yoga and meditation in your routine, especially practices that promote relaxation and reduce stress, a known contributor to hair loss. Try exercises like bhramari pranayama or alternate nostril breathing if stress is a factor.

Also, focus on your daily routine to stabilize your body rhythms. Try getting up and going to bed at the same times each day, this is simple but helps create balance.

It’s very important though, seeing a practitioner is advised, since they can look at your individual situation and provide more tailored advice. If things don’t seem to improve or it gets worse, looping a dermatologist could provide additional insight too. Essential point here is not to ignore it if it’s bothering you more. Remember, each person is different, what works for one may not for other—fine tuning is key! Keep observing your resposnse to these simple tips and be patient, natural remedies tend to take time.
